I had one manager in a professional office who when speaking to me would always grab his stuff first. It was decades ago and I still don't know why or what this meant. Some say it's habit. Some say he was making sure it stays down. Some say he was trying to move my eyes to his crotch. I don't know! I'm baffled. And disgusted.

Recently had my Specsavers test and all good thanks. Just stop looking at mens crotches.

You don’t have to look at that particular area to notice they are fiddling.
My husband is sitting to my side about 6 foot away from me but I can see that he has an IPad in his hand and he has just scratched his head.

I do, have done for years and never had an accident. You see I look at what I need to look at so no issue.

Stop looking at men's crotches, it is seriously weird and pervy and don't ever moan about men looking at women's breasts if you really think people have no control of what they are looking at.

Oh right we are just talking about sitting close to someone in a confined space. I thought people were talking about seeing men out and about. If it's in your living room then just ask your husband to stop.

I don't go round checking out mens' crotches but had a boss (a tall chap) who would scratch his tackle while standing by my desk talking to me, so the said display was on my eye level without any effort on my part! I really think he didn't realise he was doing it, so I just used to look at something else, like my computer screen.

It is perfectly normal to be able to see things other than those directly in your eyeline. I would be seriously worried if I couldn’t wether they were sitting next to me or further away.

I've given birth to 4 children so I think a qualify as a woman.

I just think it is so hypocritical when men are criticised for looking at a woman's breasts because there is just no need but women can't possibly avoid looking at a man's crotch. Typical double standards.

Well that isn't the same as the OP sitting in her car looking at a man fiddling is it? Lots of changing the rules here, sitting in a room with someone, someone standing by your desk. Not the same as the OP's sitting in her car watching young men which apparently happens to her a lot.

Reminds me of a joke at the police station where I used to work. Elderly woman annoyed that the man in the house opposite was walking round naked with the curtains open. Police office goes round and she says, he's up there now doing it. Police officer says they can't see anything. She replies well you can if you stand on this chair. Police advice? I think you’re missing the point some of us have tried to make theworriedwell. There are young men walking casually around with their hand ( and sometimes both hands inside their jogging trousers) like it’s a perfectly natural thing to do. I’ve seen it numerous times in recent months both in England and Scotland. If someone is walking towards you with his hand inside his trousers it’s impossible not to notice. Just this morning I saw a young man gazing into a shop window in the precinct. One hand was holding his toddler’s buggy and the other was buried inside the front of his joggers . It’s bizarre behaviour.

As a normal person I don’t only look straight ahead at eye level, my gaze is everywhere, when driving my car for example I will have my eye on the road ahead but also on the toddler teetering on the pavement by the kerb!

I can only surmise you are very unusual in that you only see peoples faces and don’t ever look down, I will try it on my next trip out.

As for someone seeing a young man with his hands in his trousers unless you make a study of it he could just have his hand in a pocket. Of course close study might reveal which it is but who cares and why?
