Morning Mick and all from S Hants, dry and 4.
I hope you improve rapidly Mick you must be washed out.
Enjoy your shop gMattie my favourite jumper is from Asda, I have it on today, at least ten years old, still washes beautifully, think it was about a fiver.
Yesterday’s phone calls sorted quickly, quiz was fun, very busy.
Today we’ll get our tree, it won’t go up until next week, I’ve also got some shoes for the charity shop in the village.
I hope Bella is feeling better and others under the weather too.

Good morning from Malta where a high of 18°C and a low of 11°C are expected.

Very sorry you had such an awful day Mick but glad you spoke to your doctor at last.

Thank you all for your lovely messages yesterday, your support is so appreciated. In this turbulent world it means so much to find such kindness.🤗

DD3 and the boys visited yesterday which was the medicine I needed. Littlest was ‘helping’ which involved using half a box of tissues (or ‘achoos’ as he calls them) to dust my tv unit. His brother snuggled beside me, they are so sweet.

DD3 was shocked to find me unwell and went to the chemist for supplies, bless her.

Susan sounds like a busy but fun day for you. Ash stay warm! grandMattie what a lovely idea to make a lucky dip advent calendar and good to know it is appreciated. I have never made jam in my life I’m ashamed to say. It sounds delicious. Grandmabatty hope your hip won’t spoil your day.

Sorry you and Mr L are not feeling well kitty. I hope it’s not this virus I’ve got as it seems to be very persistent.

I’m about to haul myself into the shower. No idea what I’ll be doing thereafter as I’m still coughing my head off.

Wishing a good day to you all. ☀️

Just realised I posted this on the ‘before you die’ thread!. My brain is definitely not working.🤦🏼‍♀️

Good morning from south Manchester where it’s dark and wet.
No plans today. Himself will go into the larder later for whatever we fancy for dinner tonight. I’m thinking breaded haddock with tartare sauce. Easy - and he’ll be happy as long as it’s not salmon. 😁

‘your’ - must preview in future as phone’s spellcheck is very misguided!

Good morning all. Dark and dry here in Yorkshire. Glad you’re GP is on the case Mick and hope you feel better soon. Snap grandMattie, I’m off to our local Asda Living for some household things today and will peruse the clothes whilst there. New carpet is being fitted in 2 bedrooms today. After many months of rough bare boards (long story) it will be luxury stepping out of bed tomorrow morning! Take care.

Good morning all from a chilly North Leicestershire.

DH has been feeling 'off' for a couple of days. He did a covid test yesterday which was, thankfully, negative. Last night I started to feel weird too. So, we are both staying put.

Have the best day possible everyone.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Take it easy Mick and drink plenty of fluids. It’s cold - 2 degrees - and dark here and the sky is full of stars - I stood in the garden for a few minutes looking at them while I waited for the kettle to boil. Yesterday was a bit of a lost day waiting for an Amazon delivery that went astray but I cleaned all the inside windows and made a batch of mince pies which were rather nice. I ate a few (well you have to, don’t you?) and put the rest in the freezer. Ironing this morning and a volunteer session this afternoon.
Have the best day you can folks.

Good morning, I haven’t looked at the weather, let’s hope it will be dry and sunny.

Bathroom fitters reckon they will be finished Wednesday, hooray.

Susan you will have one very excited GC to take to school after breakfast with Santa! How lovely to see the Nativity with them as well.

GM the advent calendar sounds an excellent idea.

Mick I hope you feel better soon, maybe Chinese Takeaways aren’t a good idea in future? Maybe the MSG in them is something that you should avoid?

Hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning all from Polmont where it's currently 0° and looks damp. As long as it isn't ice! Mick I'm sorry you had such a bad day. Susan safe journey. Ash I'm glad last night was a better rehearsal. It'll raise everybody's spirits. GrandMattie I've never made blueberry jam. I must try it some time.
Yesterday was a busy day. I picked up an extra prescription from the chemist - my thyroid medicine needs tweaking- then hung my new curtains. Then I dug out the Christmas tree and started to decorate it. I picked up dgs2 from playgroup and he 'helped' decorate it too. When dgs1 came in from school, he wanted in on it, so moved some decorations around. He was very excited to see the tree though. I went to bed early to read and rest, ended up falling asleep and woke at eleven, so I got up for a cup of tea.
Today, after dropping off dgs1 at school, we will go to Tesco for their magazines. I need a couple of items too. Dgs2 likes going as he likes one of the assistants and usually spots her. The rest of the day will be light. My hip is a bit painful, probably all the climbing step ladders yesterday. So a painkiller is needed before I head out. Have a good day all.

Good morning, it’s a chilly 4° here in south Glos and a cold day forecast.
I will sort out the utility room this morning, DH uses it as a dumping ground and it’s irritating me! Dog will be out with the wonderful dog walker this morning, she’ll have a great time chasing around with her friends Bog and Fen, two exuberant Labradors.
I’m looking forward to doing more needlework later.
I hope today goes well for you all 🌹

Good morning from s somerset, I think today is going to be sunny but cool

Mick, I am glad that the present problem is potentially to do with bad food, that is quite simply fixable. You will soon feel comfortable to to be out and about again

I woke up with a solution in my head and started to make devices to secure my shed roof at 4.30. I will go up there at 8.30, I need to take a measurement and empty my car before I can finish the device

Yesterday was lovely, a proper good start to the christmas break and some really good chatting.

Have a good day

Good morning from Bristol.
Sorry you have had such a bad time, Mick, but at last you have contacted a health professional.
DGD sent me a text saying how much she was enjoying he “lucky dip” advent calendar I made for her! Lots of silly things/chocolate and a scratch card for Christmas Eve.
After the Tesco visit, I started to make the blueberry jam - low pectin, much boiling for a soft set. Yes, I did add lots of lemon juice. 3kg made about 15 pots of various sizes.
Today, I fancy going to Asda on the other side of town, a 50 minute bus ride. I like their clothes and fancy treating myself a little after all those months of financial restraint.
I’ve got th3 podiatrist who amused/annoyed me by telling me that her price had gone up by £5 then proceeded to describe the amazing holidays she was planning!
Hope my dear GMmers are in good spirit today. Carpe diem 🦩🦩🦩

Good morning from a very chilly Torbay where it will become colder before creeping up to eight this afternoon. This is the first winter since I was prescribed blood thinners and I’m really noticing the difference. Brrh!

I’m glad you spoke to your GP, Mick, but wonder if your team at the JR should advise you. Hope you are feeling better today.

Safe travels on your busy but rewarding day, Susan56.
A better rehearsal last night lifted everybody’s spirits. I shall be back to the theatre for a Props session this morning.

Feel better soon, especially Bellasnana and Marydoll and, everyone, keep warm! 🦩💐🥶🥰🦩

Susan56 Tue 03-Dec-24 05:47:54

Good morning from Shropshire.Dry and mild at the moment.

Sorry you had such a bad day Mick but hopefully the sample will confirm whether the issue is food poisoning.

We are about to set off to DD2’s in Staffordshire so I can take DGS1 to have breakfast with Santa.Once he is at school we will drive home, have a quick lunch then head over the border into North Wales to watch H in his nativity play. Our days are all or nothing!

Hoping Bellasnanna, Marydoll and all unwell are feeling better today.

Have the best day you can everyone🦩
