Raising a glass to Giselle Pelicot

Can we please, ladies, take a moment at Christmas to raise a glass to a wonderful woman who has endured the unendurable. Who has shown the world what it is to be a woman of grace and dignity. More than anything or anyone this year, Giselle Pelicot has shown me personally that we women need to stick together and support one another, no matter what. Even if we disagree, we are women-together and, as such, we should honour one another ... 'cos there's too many terrible men out there who would take our souls if we let them (as Carol King would say!) Yes, there are some terrific men, and we should treasure them and hold them close. If you've got a good 'un, hang onto him, that's what I say. But for Giselle, that hasn't been the case and, probably, never will be. So, hugs to Giselle Pelicot from me x

Well said Rosie51. It's so hard to put setiments into words when refering to this shocking, heartbreaking case.🙄

If this real life shocker had been a tv series am guessing we would all have said it was ridiculously far fetched and switched off.A case of life being stranger than fiction.
It must have been hard for her to have it play out in the court but also something that just had to be done, so bravo Giselle🍷
