Good morning from a dull and cloudy Black Country.
Arrived home from Bristol around 5pm yesterday, after a day which didn't go to plan. The battery was flat on the car in the morning, so the day was spent, charging it, then going to the nearest Kwik Fit to have one fitted. Cost of £237!
so had lunch whist we were waiting in a lovely little cafe. Played games back at the girls house, then time to leave. We were going to drive over to Glastonbury. He had had trouble with his battery for a few weeks, and I had said ages ago he needed a new battery. But did he listen?
Read about your horrendous journey on Friday Ashcombe, we had a similar one on the M5, took over an hour longer than it normally does, so not quite so bad as yours. It was stop start for over half the way, just sheer volume of traffic.
DS is 49 today and it is hard to get my head around that. I remember the day vividly. SIL and BIL had come to stay on the 27th (SIL had been my friend from the age of 5). When it became obvious labour had started, she was running around like a headless chicken, saying...'don't panic Jan'. I said I'm not, she said, 'well I am'
Thinking of ginny today
Wishing you all the best day possible, and thinking of all with health or other worries.
Found out today, can't take it in
Well, that was a farce.........
