Irrational dislikes of people you don’t know..

I find Stephen Fry obnoxious, and can't stand Kaye [I love me] Adams.

Dislike smutty Lee Mack, Peter Kay, Allen Carr, Jimmy Carr, the whining Josh Widdecombe. Paddy McGuiness is awful as is Gino DeCampo and Russell Brand.

The female presenter on Pottery Throwdown [and her very unfunny remarks] makes me want to switch off but I like the programme so I endure.

Megan Markle and Harry make me feel very angry. And if you told me Luke Littler was 47 I'd believe you.

However I love Bob Mortimer, I like Kirsty Allsopp [reminds of someone I was very fond of] Alice Roberts and Martine Roberts.

So TIRED of Ant and Dec.

Me too, but I’ll keep it brief. I dislike Alan Carr, never liked Greg Wallace (😩), Mary Berry (😇), Michaela Strachan (screechy), Jonathan Ross, Orla Guerin, Laura Kuenssberg.
Certain voices irritate me too, like Pat Marsh on Radio Kent.
I really like Bob Mortimer (love his smile and demeanour).

Oh, yes, I really like Phil Spencer.

I can't stand Phil Spencer since I saw a video of him killing a beautiful deer for pleasure.

It is therapeutic to voice our dislikes, and I think it’s very understandable to have them. After all, we have a lifetime of experiences of people who we knew and were unpleasant, or people unlike ourselves, or even don’t look similar to us, or well formed beliefs and prejudices against certain people. I don’t think it’s unnatural.

I too find Stephen Fry just too much, prefer QI with Sandi Tostvic.
Not keen on Paddy McGuiness either as his Northerness seems rather overdone.
I enjoy watching Claudia Winkleman; she doesn’t witter on and makes me laugh. I used to enjoy her radio programme too.

Thank goodness I don't come across Piers Morgan any more. I don't want to know where he hangs out these days. His smug, simpering face and bully boy tactics make me seethe.

On the other hand I still miss the late Richard Whiteley who presented Countdown. He had a comforting, avuncular presence. Also Carol Vorderman was at her best in that era.

As somebody said on The News Quiz yesterday, while one shouldn’t take an instant dislike to someone just because they are a R Wing S African billionaire - why not? It saves time in the long run!
