Good morning all from a foggy Glasgow, where it is -5°C. This bitterly cold weather really affects my breathing, so I shall be hunkering down.
There is a bonus to the cold weather. From the end of our street, you can see towards Ben Lomond and the snow covered Campsie. It is a beautiful view.
Grammaretto, you are some woman. I thought the hairdresser was coming to your home! You have such a positive attitude.
Bluesapphire, you must be really fit, attending all those classes. 💚
brook safe journey down to Glasgow. Hopefully the fog will have lifted by the time you are travelling.
I don't have plans for today, just pottering. It is taking me a bit of time to feel normal again. I just have the minestrone soup to finish off and DH has offered to go for my prescriptions, because it is so cold. He is not such a bad soul after all. 😉
My plan is to go to the Vigil Mass tonight, but after watching Livestream, I suspect that the heating has broken down again everyone looks so cold.
I have been humbled by messages from Gransnetters, the PP and random parishioners, checking up on me. 🥰 it has lifted my spirits.
Have a good day folks and keep warm and safe.
