Just back from awful dog walk, absolutely necessary for the beloved spaniel, wet right through, muddy and cold wet feet, I thought where would I rather be, I have a small home in Portugal and wish I could be there rather than anywhere! Where would you like to be today?

Poor weather in NE England for a while now - grey, just grey in every shade imaginable, plus rain and temperatures hovering around zero.
I’ve DD2’s Little Dog today and tomorrow- I’ll take him out for a walk, but I’d be lying if I said I was looking forward to it!!

Browsing Cyprus for later in the year.

I’ve just returned from time in Australia with DD2 where despite a lot of storms, it was also hot and sunny.(yep. I’m very lucky) but how I wish I could have stayed there. Everything is so grey & depressing here be it the weather, buildings, politics or state of the NhS plus a lot more. I feel really depressed and out of sorts. The window which blew out in December and ‘replaced’ is still leaking as the wind blows the rain through it. I now have a cold thanks to the woman who coughed over me for 15 hours on the flight🤧. Maybe I’ll just hide under the dooner until Spring and better days arrive- if they do ☹️

For me, northern France. We used to have a holiday home there and it was my happy place. It didn’t matter that the weather was much like ours in Kent. To me, the sun always shone there, no matter how wet and miserable it was.

Some lovely answers here, thanks for responding, dog walk was enjoyable today, we had sunshine and spaniels feet and mine stayed dry 😀
