Having had half my pancreas removed in April due to cancer I’m only now starting to get over the fatigue, tiredness, and total lack of motivation.
It will take as long as it takes and worrying is the last thing you should do.
I found it difficult at first because I couldn’t do things around the house and if I did manage to do something small I would really suffer the next day. I’d be wiped out.
So I learned to let things go. It bothered me that my house became a tip and it’s only now that I’m just about well enough to tackle a small area a day.
I even had my dsis to come and do my dishes one day because I couldn’t stand to do them.
Take your time and don’t rush.
You’ll get there in the end.
You need this time to rest and heal, don’t t feel guilty about the time it’s taking as that will hinder your recovery.
Get some good food inside of you. Plenty of fruit and veg. Lots of fluids.
Stay in bed and go on gransnet for support and then go down on the settee and either read or catch up on some really good films and tv series and box sets.
All the best to you and I hope you start to feel better.
Sending prayers, hugs and kind thoughts to you 🙏🫂💭💐
