I have reached the point in my recovery where the news of Mummy Pig (of Peppa Pig fame) is expecting her third baby in the summer was actually interesting

I watched a reporter on the show biz section of breakfast news interview a cartoon pig!

I have even put it on the family WhatsApp group chat 🤦‍♀️

What have you resorted to doing whilst confined to barracks

What exactly is adult colouring? Sounds good. I keep meaning to try audio books but haven’t got round to it. How long is your sentence GG?

Winterwhite…….Sorry that it has been so long since you asked what Adult colouring is. In a nutshell, it’s the same as colouring for children, but the designs are more complex. If you take a look at the Joanna Basford website, it explains it far more clearly than I can.
I have found it a real godsend, as you have to concentrate, so it doesn’t leave much room for worrying. The time flies by, and it’s fun to see how much you improve the more you do. I love it!

My poor husband would give anything to be enjoying some of the things you are getting in to whilst confined to barracks!

Following a severe stroke he is stuck at home. He cannot walk, cannot get in a car, has lost the use of his right arm (he is right handed) and leg, his speech is affected, his eyesight is affected.

We are totally fed up this week so would welcome any ideas of things to do.

So sorry to hear that,Primrose. Can he listen to the radio? Headphones might help.Practice using his left hand? Can he speak enough to be understood?
Wishing you all the best.

I’m rather obsessed with podcasts and they cover just about everything. I especially like history ones. Dan Snows history podcast is very good. He recently did one about Shackleton if your husband is interested in that sort of thing.

It sounds very trivial t suggest Primrose, but if you got him a left-handed mouse, could he play games on the computer?
