Auntieflo (A message from her DD)

I am Auntieflo’s DD, and I introduced her to this site some years ago, as I enjoy Mumsnet- (under another name.)

Auntieflo wanted her friends on here (Greenfinch and others) to know that she has been quite unwell for some time and was admitted to hospital over 2 weeks ago. She has now sadly deteriorated and is for Palliative Care only.

She has been referred to the local hospice, so if any of you pray, please pray that a space can be found for her soon as it will be a much more peaceful environment for her there than the hospital.

She is currently in a 2 bed bay, and I have said I could read her any replies that she gets when I visit again tomorrow.

Thank you to anyone who has chatted and met up with her over the years.

Grannylicious my heartfelt condolences to you and all your family on the loss of your dear mother.

Although we never met, she and I corresponded and she was always so very kind and understanding even while going through such a rough time herself. I’m genuinely very sad to hear she has gone. May she rest in peace.🥀
