Good Morning Everyone,
A dark but dry start here in brackley this morning.
My usual plan with bus to Bicester ,shop and chat to those I know.
Return for a day of cycling on TV with lunch in between .
Health OK,
Take Care,
Mick

Oh Blossoming you must have been so frightened and shaken up. Rest up.

Good Morning Mick and all GN's on a sunny dry north yorkshire morning. Rather later than usual as having had a rotten night, I went out early to the market and to the supermarket.

As always seems to happen to me, when I think I only need a couple of things and the Yorkshire Post, then there are various bargains to be had and it is a difficult job trying to carry them home, but if I take lots of bags I find nothing I want . So today it was a case of loading things anywhere I could, so have rather struggled home, but have now shoved everything away and having a break and a coffee, before tackling whatever I feel up to doing.

If you hear some loud shouting it will be me watching the rugby!! So I must get some food sorted and fingers crossed for some good games and then hopefully still time to sit outside and maje the most of the sunshine and read my paper. It would be lovely to go up Swaledale today but I shall just have to be satisfied by sitting outside. A lot of the morning has gone already but hope you are all having a good day

blossoming that sounds awful and so frightening. I do hope you are able to rest and recover.
marydoll does your weight loss mean that you’ll need new and smaller clothes?!

Blossoming sorry to her of your accident, I hope your aches and pains ease soon x

Redcar, do not put ideas into my head!😂
My White Stuff advance order sweater from QVC has been irreparably damaged by Evr.
I was offered a larger size, but happily declined!

Dear Blossoming, sending virtual hugs. Real ones would be too painful.
DD has just popped in on her way back from. Oban and has stolen the soup, because she has no shopping.😂

Big shhh! Please. 😮😮
I’ve just taken a wash load out of our (recently bought) washing machine. Luckily it was a short 20 minute ‘freshen up’ wash.
We both noted the sound of metal knocking occasionally on the drum … “oh it’s just be the zip on my gilet” said I.

I opened the door at the end of the cycle … to find my house keys sitting on the rubber casing. That was very lucky! 🫢

I’m usually obsessed about checking pockets too in case of a rogue tissue creating mayhem!

Thanks alll, I didn’t hit my head and don’t seem to have broken anything- my 2 main fears. Aggie the en-suite is in the process of being altered to make my life easier and should be ready soon, fingers crossed. It’s useable but will be better once finished. I guess it’s a question of resting and healing now.

Had to post to say I’ve got sheets and pillowcases on the line for the first time this year in sunny Durham today. Keep safe and celebrate being a woman today

Sorry to hear about your fall Blossoming. I did exactly the same on Monday at my daughter's house.
The bruises are spectacular.
Please rest up and I hope you feel better soon, love xx

Thank you Sar53 it really shakes you up. I hope you’re OK now, I’m mending, slowly. I’m fed up and can’t even do my exercises.

Good afternoon from a very pleasant Kirkintilloch just outside Glasgow we’ve just been treated to a lovely lunch at the Butchers Grill in Elderlie by our eldest DS. Was definitely worth the trip to the other side of Glasgow.

What a coincidence. My mother hails from Kilsyth and one of my sons lives just along the road from the Butcher's Grill and always raves about it.
