Do you feel cherished?

Yes I was loved and cherished. Have had to do without that now for a long time. I am loved and cared for by my ACs so am very grateful for that.

Together since 1973, and married from 1976, I feel loved and cherished. Couples do have to give and take, get through good times and bad times and everything in between, so it takes effort sometimes more that other times.

IMHO, too many couples expect too much, expect it to be too easy - without putting in the effort that is almost always required by both parties in a marriage.

Yes, I definitely felt loved and cherished my beloved late DH. Nobody ever loved me like he did, he gave up a lot to be with me and he never wavered in his devotion to myself and our children.

The last ten years without him have been extremely difficult knowing that nobody will ever fill his place, but oh how I cherish his memory.

Very loved, yes, but not sure about cherished. It's a word I find a bit quaint for some reason.

‘Cherish’ was by Kool and the Gang, I think, (haven’t looked it up).

Can remember our local electrician years ago doing a job at our house. He was whistling ‘Cherish’.

He has died now, but I think about his lovely whistle every time I hear that song.

Not by husband number 1. But my current DH treats me like a queen which he always promised he would nearly 30 years ago.

I did when my husband was alive,I have been widowed over 27years.I was in another relationship for 13 of those years,but never felt like I did with my husband.I am staying single for the rest of my days.

Lovely memories of the years I was with my husband,that is enough for me now.

many years ago when divorcing my husband my aunt asked 'didn't he cherish you dear' and then said her life hadn't been easy with her husband my uncle, sad isn't it.

Yes I do. I’m happy & he is too. We know we’re fortunate but do believe you make your own luck ? We chose each other / married nearly 50 years ago.
Positive thinking, compromise, work together - try & see the other persons point of view…the grass isn’t greener….Etc Etc…. Grow old together & be kind & thoughtful
