Miss Mander head of Eastleigh primary school has cancelled the Easter Service and Easter bonnet parade at a primary school. She thinks it's not inclusive? It's all over the press if you Google her name. What do others think?

I wasn't directing it at you Jaxjackysmile, just pointing out that there was lots of support for the rights of the 'Quaker' protest so this little gang have the same rights. I think both groups are muppets but I support their right to protest.

Todays ‘demo’ including a UKIP spokesman Nick Tenconi with a large wooden spoon for stirring.

He's a self-professed "Christian Nationalist".

A contradiction in terms if ever there was.

They are a political and social movement strong in the USA and some coming over here.

Yes.

Fits in with the activities of these "Christian Nationalists" and Nick Tenconi. Googling him is informative.

I hope they got moved on, thats not acceptable next to a school nor a school and is hatred against the head

Is there a report anywhere of what happened?

Perhaps we should deport them - isn't that the American way?

This is the report of what happened today at the school. It incudes more photographs that give a clear idea of the nature of the protests and also - that parents turned out against them and praised the headteacher. This was not a local group protesting.

It doesn't matter if they are local though, they have the right to protest.

Yes they have the right to protest, I totally agree, but not imo the banner naming the headteacher and saying she should be "Cancelled".

The police did very well containing it and keeping it low key as there were arguments with parents.

The children missed their afternoon play outside and a parent said " the protest has meant that the pupils cannot attend a choir performance being held by their peers at The Point, as teachers do not want to walk them past the protest"

I think the Easter bonnet parade was just fun everyone could join in, I don't think it had anything to do with inclusivity. I disagree with her cancelling, however I don't think the Christian group have behaved very well either. They came over as aggresive.

The Christian group

I hope they feel very proud of themselves, intimidating children and forcing them to miss their end of term performance.

Jesus said "Suffer the little children to come unto me"
Christian these people are not.
