Although we have never met, I wanted to thank you, for
everything. You gave birth to me on 5th August 1955 - in
the years of sensible. All I know, you worked in a bank; you
met an agricultural student; you had me, named me
Patricia and you blessed me with the most wonderful
adopted Mummy and Daddy, ever.

You gave me a perfect body, toes, fingers and the neatest
tummy button ever.

Real life is not like stupid depictions on TV when kids find
out they are adopted - I would never ‘blame’, I have no
right to judge - nor would I. I just want to thank you.

I don’t know, but hope you are still around, somewhere,
and I send all my love.

Sadly my beautiful, wonderful Mummy died when I was
8, but you and them gave me the love/genes to adore and
rescue everything four legs, fur and feathers - I’ve
been doing that for over 60 years - maternal I’m not,
but fuzzies are my life.

I don’t know ‘me’ at all, but I am kind, generous, loving,
too soft, sensitive and giggly. Much of that, I believe comes
from you. I am alone now but I will always
be so grateful to you and to the best adopted Mummy and
Popsy - he looked after me my whole life x

I’ve had the best life you could imagine - all this, because of you.

Thank you so very much.

Happy Mother’s Day, Mummy. xxx
