Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark ,dry and cold here in brackley at the moment.
Today the usual routine with a bus to trip,to Bicester , have a chat with those I know.
Mobile phone wise booked a appointment with a local EE/BT store to get them to put new sim card in and start the top up.
Health OK,
Take Care,

Good morning all.
JaxJ I just love the colour of those nasturtiums, crime scene, how very descriptive.
I would just see blood every time I looked at them !!

Good morning everyone from a partially cloudy day in the northern Bay of Biscay (I think!). We are rocking and rolling a bit, but not unpleasant.

Held up by traffic a bit on the way down, but lunch was still being served!
A pleasant cabin, left the unpacking to this morning, and all is safely stowed away now.

Was sitting at the bar after dinner last night, when glammagran and her DH made herself known to me - she recognised me from that little bit of tv programme I was on!
We spent a pleasant couple of hours chatting over drinks and will no doubt meet again somewhere on board.

My plans for today? - a hot stone massage is booked for 11am, and at 2pm I go for a manicure and pedicure, something I always do on the first sea day.
Then just spend the rest of the day relaxing, probably reading.

Wishing all, at sea or ashore, a pleasant day.

A very late good morning to you all. I had a poor night's sleep - I didn't drop off until somewhere around 3am. So when I woke at 6.45 (lovely sunny morning then!) I decided to see if I could get back to sleep. The next thing I knew it was 9.15. Shocking, I know! But I feel better for it.
Grandmattie you have my sympathy!
Obviously I haven't read the 51 posts ahead of me, so can't comment - although I do remember that a couple of you are off on cruises today, so have a lovely time.
My day will be at it's mundane best after a lovely weekend of sun and laziness - although please note that I not only got the washing dry yesterday but ironed it as well!! Today my little friend Robbie the robovac has already cleaned the kitchen and garden room floors ready for me to wash them so I'm way down my To Do List without doing anything 😉. After that I have a couple of letters I must write and post - and if I actually get that done I shall truly wear a halo 😇
Have a good day everyone x

I have a dozen nasturtiums in peat pots and they are just beginning to show above the soil. I grow them most years but have never tried eating them😁!

Bit late to say good morning! ‘Good day’ will cover it. Hope you get your phone set up, Mick. When I was with EE, the local branch was very helpful and sorted me out when I bought a secondhand phone from another local shop and got a Sim only deal from them.

We are back down south in West Sussex having had a lovely Scottish break and enjoyed catching up with DD2 and family. The DGS twin boys have their ‘big’ exams after Easter so there were a few reluctant revision sessions while we were there. Chemistry seems to be the bugbear for one boy. He clashes with his dad over his habit of disappearing back to his computer games before much, if any, studying is done. Son-in-law blocks his internet access but DGS is clever enough to tweak the system himself, to get back in. As SiL works from home most days, this does not go down well.

We came back from Scotland via Scarborough and Cambridge. I thought of you, Madeleine as we crossed the North Yorkshire moors . It, and the Yorkshire Dales, are so beautiful and it was perfect weather. The weather stayed warm and sunny for our friends’ anniversary party. It was a joyful and fun afternoon.

I have skimmed through the posts and am thinking particularly of Gingster & Mr G, Sallyforth and Grandmabatty.

I am off out into the garden now to sow some seeds and talk to the plants that have survived without me for the past 3 weeks (a quick look yesterday showed pots in the cold frame had survived the lack of watering).

Ok, FGT2, here is a picture of my champagne breakfast. I also had a bowl of fruit, so at least some of it was healthy! and last night's Margarita.....

Such a great start to your holiday Blue! By my reckoning you’ll be on your way over to the salon now. What a good idea getting your nails done professionally at the start of your holiday - you are obviously a Seasoned Cruiser!

Sure we all look forward to hearing more. 👋 to you too glamma!

The young leaves are delicious in salads, very peppery. The flowers also eaten raw. The berries can be pickled and used instead of capers!

Thankyou, GM - I have to get them there first!😁

I love nasturtiums, jax, but in Kent they barely poked their heads out that caterpillars stripped them. I must try to plant some out here.

We eat the leaves and the flowers, do any of you?

Some years ago, whilst staying with friends in Ottawa, we went for a meal in Gatineau in neighbouring Quebec where we were served nasturtium flowers as part of a salad.
