I know its afternoon but I did read your posts earlier and just popped back to see if there was anything from or regarding Marydoll. Like you all, I do hope shes ok and I hope she's not succumbed to the gastric bug the baby had. Fingers crossed she's just busy with church this Easter weekend and is resting up in between her church responsibilities. x

Happy Easter to you CrossStitch 🤞 those injections work their magic for a long time to come. Where do you live please? Must be wonderful living by the sea.

Hi!
Thank you for your kind thoughts about the injections. When I first had them, I was so embarrassed as they were (and still are) done in my home by a very fit man half my age! I’m used to it now, and it is only once every 4 weeks.

I live on the seafront in Dover. People think of Dover as a not-very-nice place, but like anywhere else, it has its moments!
I adore living here. There is always something to see. Moving here after my husband died three years ago literally saved my sanity! Sitting in my living room looking out at the sea at 3am when I can’t sleep is a blessing. I would send a photo if I knew how!
The back of the flat (luckily just the bathroom and spare room, which don’t need a view), looks out over the main route to Dover Port, which is just down the road. The road rage from people trying to get to their ferries is entertaining! It also looks out over Dover Town and over towards the countryside. I am lucky.
Happy Easter to you too. It’s a beautiful day for it here.

Forgot to say, I was embarrassed because the injections are into my bum!
Poking your rear end up at a fit young man is no fun when it’s for something like that!

crossstitchfan I have a good friend who lives along the coast from you. I’d love to live by the sea, and Dover is a very busy port! Happy Easter to you.

Ah thank you CrossStitch for your reply! It’s always extra nice to ‘place’ where everyone is posting from. Extra interesting although it could just be that I'm nosey

Hope everybody had a great Easter. As I told everyone before, I had my Easter celebration with my family on Thursday as everyone was working all over Easter. They are almost all shift workers at the port and in the next town.
The rest of the holiday, I pottered about at home, catching up with a few jobs and reading. The time flies by and I am never bored.
I am late to bed tonight as I started watching ‘The Feud’ which I had recorded and just couldn’t stop! I am loving it and I like all the actors, most of whom are pretty well-known. Last episode tomorrow (or, I should say, tonight, as it’s Tuesday now). Pity there aren’t more of these excellent dramas.
On that note, I’ll say ‘goodnight and sweet dreams’.

I was wrong about The Feud! The last episode is tonight (Wednesday). Sorry if I confused you!
