What will you be doing tomorrow

Acegik Fri 25-Apr-25 16:25:41

Yes everyone it was odd.
I've been trying to post for ages, without success, so thought I would try and again, but had no inspiration.
Murphy's law for it to work this time.Nevertheless thank you everyone who contributed to my accidental post.

Have just returned from the Harrogater Flower show and am absolutely knackered - tomorrow hopefully I will recover!

I will be doing much the same as today, with added steam trains!

MrB has been taking me for a daily trundle in my wheelchair after lunch. Tomorrow the steam railway museum will be running a historic engine so we will try to take some photos of it while we are out 😎

It’s tomorrow now and I have had a blood test this morning, off to a meeting in a few mins. Not very exciting at all… but yesterday I went to see the Tulips near Sandringham. They are grown by the people who grew them for the prequel to Wicked.
The tulips were beautiful, all in aid of our local Hospice.

I’m collecting yet more medication (to reduce blood pressure), then going to morning service at Church. After the Service, hopefully completing the cleaning I started this morning.
Shopping for more cat food, then home for lunch.
Finally, if the weather forecast is correct - mowing the lawn!

Cabbie21 Fri 25-Apr-25 17:25:07

Tomorrow I hope to do a Bluebell Walk, then pack for a short break. Looks like I’ll have to dig out some lighter clothes.

I did my freezer out. I think having mentioned it in this thread meant that I was committed and felt I had to get on with it. So now I'm committing myself to a laundry day tomorrow. A lot has accumulated over Easter!

Tonight we are staying in a coaching inn in Levisham North Yorkshire so tomorrow we are having the day in Whitby.

I shall watch the funeral of Pope Francis, it starts at 9am, our time. Later, food shopping is on the agenda. I'll also stock up on bird food.

bridie54 Fri 25-Apr-25 18:29:20

I will do my usual 2 hours in the community garden in the morning. Not sure what but the gardener leaves us lists.

Home after that and get cleaned up and changed , then lunch and joining my sisters to visit my SIL for her birthday. Carrot (birthday) cake will be consumed!

In the evening I plan to watch The Graduate which I recorded a couple of weeks ago, just loved it first time around.

Aveline Fri 25-Apr-25 18:41:56

Tomorrow I'm going into town for the monthly coffee morning/support group then in the evening a meal out with people from DHs work that I don't want to go to. sad

lizzypopbottle Fri 25-Apr-25 18:52:07

Tomorrow morning I will be training in the karate black belt class from 9.30am to 11am. Then I will help teach the junior grades until 12.30pm. After that, a few of us will relax over coffee in the leisure centre bar then head for home. I'm fasting as well so I'll probably get on with some sewing to take my mind off food until we eat our frugal meal at about 7.30pm. After that I'll read or watch my favourite sewing vloggers on YouTube until bedtime.

That is rubbish isn't it, Aveline?

We used to have Practice dinners with DH's Partners and their wives- they were really boring and the other wives were so conscious of their position. I hated it but wore a halo for ages after.

Judhi Fri 25-Apr-25 19:56:43

Church.

Lomo123 Fri 25-Apr-25 20:04:13

Taking my granddaughter into Glasgow to meet her other Gran who is keeping her over night. I, ll have a mooch around the shops then meet OH after he finishes work. Think the plan is an Italian meal then home.

Greenfinch Fri 25-Apr-25 20:12:02

Two of my granddaughters have birthdays next week so we are going to have a family tea party with them after which we will do our usual weekly shop in the evening.

lixy Fri 25-Apr-25 20:13:21

Tomorrow being Saturday we will have toast for breakfast - a weekend treat!
St George’s celebrations are happening in the town centre so I will enjoy those while I do the shopping at the market.
Then the crossword - hope to get it done by lunchtime.

WhiteSwan63 Fri 25-Apr-25 20:49:36

The meal at the Horseshoe inn at Levisham was heavenly. Looking forward to Whitby tomorrow.

Ziggy that sounds horrible. What an awful reaction. Hope it gets better soon.

As a lover of ceremony I shall watch The Funeral. Nothing else planned. I have a list of to-do things but I’m a professional procrastinator and the list just gets longer.

Sadly allergic reaction got quite scary. Went to pharmacist who sent me to GP, no appointments available, no nurses. Gave me phone number for A&e but same problem no appointments, suggested I call out of hours after 6pm but apparently Friday evenings get very busy. Suggested I get cortisone cream and stronger antihistamines from pharmacist, so followed advice, woke yesterday morning with worsening hives covering more of my arms and legs. Rang out of hours, doc called back eventually, sent prescription to pharmacist for stronger antihistamines and steroids but said it would take 2 hours. By the time my husband collected prescription rash was spreading to my neck and hands and I was beginning to worry. Thankfully drugs helped. Very tired today

Tomorrw (Monday): We'll be having our almost 2-year-old GD for the day. We'll have breakfast, then go to a playgroup, and then have a picnic in the afternoon by a play park and a lake.

Bellanonna Sun 27-Apr-25 20:32:52

Ziggy, poor you. What a long wait to get something that could have helped sooner. I wonder what on Earth it was that bit you? I’m glad things are improving but you might need to wear long sleeves when you go into the garden. That really was a violent reaction.
