They seemed a very happy couple. He was much younger than her so was very likely to meet someone else. Good luck to him. I hope he will make another lady as happy as he made Barbara.

His choice, his business, why would he not want some companionship?
Such a shame that some people drag out their cauldron when they see another striving for some sort of happiness.

What is wrong with people that they criticise, he was a devoted husband, and has done plenty of fundraising since Barbara’s death. I hope he has found happiness again.

I met a chap on a blind date. We got on well and he asked if I wanted to meet up again. I said I was free on Friday and he said "Oh, I can't manage Friday, that's my wife's funeral."

My DH’s friend met his current partner at the crematorium after coming out of the service of his wife and viewing the flowers!

Still, better than before she was dead I suppose.
