Roman and Martin’s Laugh In is on Disney+. I’m on Season 2 now. It’s definitely of it’s time, but some of it is still really funny. It’s surprising how many big stars were on it.

I rarely watch itv but caught a bit of its’ late evening news item announcing that there will be cuts to the daytime tv budget to enable more to be spent on “quality drama”. Hallelujah! Lorraine, and Loose Women were two shows they mentioned. It’s all due to falling revenue from advertising, because of competition from streaming services. Itv are a tad late in recognising this imo but if this means some new evening output then that’s good news. Lots more comedy and comedy drama series would make a refreshing change from all those cliched, anxiety ridden and increasingly tacky offerings.
