Which are your 3 favourite European cities you have visited?

I haven’t been to a lot of them but the three favourite ones I have actually spent time in and loved would be
Venice
Bergen and
Budapest. For different reasons.

Edinburgh (just up the road from me and has everything)

Cordoba (spent a fabulous week in Spring in the old quarter when the patios were at their best)

Copenhagen (where my DB lives so I visit often and it's a great city)

Am I only allowed 3?

Split was a surprise, loved it.
Barcelona for the buildings
Amsterdam
I'm a country girl and find cities too busy, a weekend is plenty but actually given the choice I prefer a weekend somewhere rural and scenic.

Venice was my worst nightmare.
