Good morning Mick and all from Cloudy Chambers northwest coast.
I’m off into Cheshire by car this morning to visit old pianist friend. We’ll have lunch and he’s anxious about a colonoscopy on Monday. I’ve turned down a recital with him in the autumn as his playing is now unreliable after macular degeneration.
I’ve put my toothbrush in my bag in case I stay over.

Quiet day here yesterday apart from finding ants in the kitchen. Just a bit of artwork and music practice.

Good morning. Overcast but dry at the moment in N. Bucks.
We shall do a quick food shop this morning and another quick visit to the local nursery for a few small plants to fill in gaps in the garden.
Cake to make for tomorrow and prep for what I shall be working on.
This evening I am going to a concert locally with a friend, a mix of different music.
Thoughts with all who are under par in any way. A good day wished for all.

Good morning from a cloudy S Hants, rain is expected. A very long day Bellas good job you’re around for those boys.
I hope Wednesday goes ahead gMattie it’s bad enough without all this yes/no.
Newspaper today, other plans will be weather dependent until this evening when we’re at a wedding reception. I’m having a ‘what to wear’ dilemma as it will be about 14 and I can’t abide being cold.

Good morning from a very soggy spot in south Glos, dull skies here.
Absolutely nothing planned for today apart from dog walking, I’ll take them to the next village I think.
Yesterday I enjoyed art group as usual, a relaxing few hours in good company. I actually got the washing dried outside so some bits to iron, and I didn’t get wet dog walking which is a bonus!

I’m off to the hairdressers this afternoon so I’ll enjoy the relaxing pampering and catching up on all the local news. Nothing much else planned for today except a trip to the InPost locker to send some parcels. I’m still helping DD2 sell a few things, I seem to have the job of packing and dispatch 🙄

Good morning from a dreary Torbay following overnight rain.

I’m later than usual, having had a particularly good night lasting eight hours! Once I had done the food shopping, early yesterday morning, I had quite a lazy day. I recall being told by a physio at a class last year that doing the shopping counted as exercise for that day so I didn’t feel too guilty!

Good news about Iris, grandMattie! I hope H is feeling better today, Susan56. Thank you for updating us yesterday, FGT; thinking of you both.

It sounds as if others are busy today with plans to complete all manner of chores. I am in awe of your energy levels especially those with childcare responsibilities, and wish you all a productive weekend.

Good morning everyone from a damp mid Essex. We had some rain overnight with more forecast for today. It feels quite cool out too.
I didn’t do a lot yesterday because my back was aching,but I must do some gardening today, back ache or not! I did spend a while arranging for some helium balloons to be delivered for my godmother’s 100th birthday lunch next week.

grandmattie I hope that Iris’s operation goes ahead next Wednesday and that she makes a speedy recovery.

Good morning from Cambridgeshire. I am going into Cambridge today for a browse around John Lewis and enjoy a coffee and cake. Today is forecast 100% rain so my gardening duties will still stay on hold! Steak & chips planned for dinner.

Good morning from a damp but sunny W Kent. The deaf group went well yesterday afternoon with nine attending. A lot of fun ensued trying to connect our hearing aids to an App they are pretty sophisticated now.
I enjoyed a FaceTime with DGS3 who is trying to find his first job, about 4 or 5 online interviews before you even get to speak to a human, it all sounds so complicated
Today a quick visit to the local garden centre and a pile of ironing. I am reading a real old pot boiler, so will probably sit and read to finish it

Good morning all from Polmont where it's currently 9° and bright. Bellasnana that's a long day, and evening, of babysitting! GrandMattie it's our local art trail too. Is it a national thing?
Yesterday I went to Aldi early and stocked up. Then handed in a letter to the surgery before visiting the library. I chose six books to keep me going after next week's cataract op. I didn't have to go to town to the lawyer as the information could be sent by email. I hung out two washes when I returned home. Then I spent time in the garden. The front garden is much tidier. My next door neighbour came for a chat. He and his wife are very nice. I rarely see or hear them because of the way our houses are positioned. He had painted the fence separating our gardens on both sides to save me having to bother. Another neighbour passed by as I was weeding so we had a blether. She discovered I have a loose fence post, so Dsil will be called into service.
Today I'm going to the local garden centre for birthday cards and presents. I have three to get. No breakfast out today. I will weed the very long brick path I have which is liberally festooned with weeds. That is, if it stays dry. I have an ironing to do, the bed to strip and whites to wash too. I might begin to tidy the double cupboard in the hall - if I can be bothered! It is badly needing it done. Dinner will be chicken and leek pie. I'll make soup in the slow cooker as well. Good morning from Malta where another sunny day has dawned with the high forecast to reach 34°C.

I had a long day yesterday, the boys were absolute angels all morning, came with me to the hairdresser and behaved themselves while I had my usual blow dry,

They went off to nursery with the other gps and I came home and settled down to watch the tennis. Except my tv service was down so there were no channels working!

Back I went to DD3’s where I was able to watch the first men’s semifinal after which the boys returned and were in my hands again as DD3 and SiL both had separate engagements to attend.

I loved being able to bath them and get them ready for bed, such happy little boys who went off to bed without a bit of trouble and were asleep before I left the room.

I had boxed clever by not letting them nap during the day as I wanted them in bed early so I could watch the second men’s semifinal which was very exciting!

SiL returned at 1.30am by which time I was flagging having been up since 3am and babysitting for 14 hours.

Today I have my usual cleaning and laundry to take care of and I have also bought some more plants which need planting. Poor things don’t realize they have come to me to die, but I will do my best. I have some petunias which are thriving so all hope is not lost.

Good morning from Shropshire.A mixed forecast today with thunder forecast early afternoon.

Both children were very quiet when we collected them from school yesterday.DGD had an upset stomach when we arrived home and H had a reaction to something in his school lunch and had had a reaction🤦🏼‍♀️Poor boy still has a sore tummy this morning.DGD has sewing club this morning and H has swimming this afternoon so will see how he feels later.

I am glad Iris has a date for her surgery and pray it goes ahead this time🙏🏻

Good morning from s somerset, cooler and wetter today

A summer dress won`t do today, cosy french terry sweatshirt and trousers will do, what a shame, I will be wearing bedsocks at this rate. The cool does wake me up at night

I spent the whole day working outside yesterday, it was not on my plan but one thing followed another, bit by bit I keep on top of things and got rid of some planters. It all started with me putting my two figs into bigger, permanent pots. I never had figs until two years ago and have 3 fruits that look very viable this year plus tiny baby ones for next year. The pots are at the top of manageability for both me and the figs, if we get an extreme winter I will be able to carry them into my garage for shelter

I almost forgot a birthday on tuesday and quickly wrote a card and went straight this morning out to see if there was an early collection today. Industrial estate, it said priority postbox and has a collection at 7.30am on saturdays, that is worth knowing

Breakfast in an hour and an about town walk has to be on the cards today, I will not be tempted by the exquisite pastries and sourdoughs on sale in the bakery, I don`t take any money so cannot be tempted

I really have no plans for today., I will do a bit of housework like tidying, dusting and mopping the floor. Probably spinning too and must clean my stove as the sweep will ring me to come in july

Today I will meet a friend in Cheshire Oaks for lunch and shopping. Next week I'm off to my cousin's in Florida where it's about 30C in the daytime. I'd like some new clothes and I must buy some gifts to take.

Good morning from a grey Bristol.
We are promised much rain, etc., today, which is a pity because it is Bristol’s art trail day. DD has invited me to lunch and a tour of her area’s offerings.
I had a busy day yesterday, going into town after my lesions were photographed for investigation. I got all I needed very quickly, had lunch in my special church cafe and a bus home was waiting for me!
Chateau Mattie hair dressing salon followed, with my two neighbours joining me for a cut.
Iris has been givens new operation date for this coming Wednesday. 🤞🤞🤞🤞
