Good morning, I am currently in the back of a taxi on the M25 on my way home after an overnight flight back from Barbados.

I hope you all have a pleasant Sunday, I will be spending the day feeding the washing machine.

Hopefully I will catch up with all your news 🙋‍♀️

Good morning all from the Scottish Borders where it's sunny after what seems days of rain.
I was horrified to see a damp patch on my brand new ceiling and water dripping noisily from another ceiling above the landing.

I managed, with help to remove the petrol cap so I could fill the tank and drive to a jazz concert in a nearby village. The pianist was very late having been caught by a fallen tree and then flooding on the roads.

Today I'm going to a garden party in one of the loveliest gardens I know.
My friends are botanists and artists.
I must rustle up a plate of savoury snacks to take.

Oh the joys of uncalled for help! Marydoll 😃 The thought of winning the first aid kit quite appeals!

I agree with the others Bellasnanna.
You mustn't let those DDs take you for granted bully you, however much you love them and the DGC.

Iris is a trooper, gMattie. Such a brave girl.
I hope you get some time with your DS.
Enjoy your father's day celebrations .
I am going to be thinking of my DM who would have been 110 today. I usually plant a rose or pick a bunch for her birthday. She loved roses.

Good morning, everyone from a warm and sunny Hampshire coast with no wind for a change. I’m dashing around this morning as I need to go to the allotment society shop to pick up a schedule for this year’s produce show. We have never entered anything before but this year we’re going to give it a go!!
I haven’t read all your posts yet but hope everyone has a pleasant Sunday with some ☀️

Good morning from a cloudy but dry midlands.

A day trying to keep busy and batter away the blues. Estrangement is hard .

Good morning from a dull but dry NE.
Yesterday was a quiet day, thought I would go in the garden but the wind made it uncomfortable.
I made soup but overdid the seasoning so not sure I will eat it all.
Another quiet day, GD off doing her Dof E activities, DIL sent a photo of her in full waterproof gear and her map case around her neck. Beautiful girl leads a very full life.
My condolences to Liberty 💐

Good Morning from Durham. It’s overcast and windy here. Only one brief shower yesterday while I was driving home after the cinema - DGS1 and I enjoyed the film, despite poor reviews.

I’m having a lazy day today, charging up for the week ahead. I’ll walk Little Dog later. When DH was alive and we had dogs, I’d walk 6 or 7 working spaniels together - they were whistle trained to perfection - far less work, than DD2’s single shitzhu, who is still asleep on my bed!

Best wishes to all. X

Good morning everyone from sunny Lancashire.

Yesterday morning the rain stopped and the sky cleared so we went for our usual walk down to the dock gates. It was very pleasant out, warm in the sun with a cool breeze. The new boat that arrived a few days ago was in the water in the lock, presumably waiting for the tide. I

We were late to bed last night, we watched Elizabeth The Golden Age and it was a bit longer than we expected. As it was really interesting we watched to the very end. It’s not the same if you have to wait a day. No lie ins here, we stick to our routine! Meds to take, breakfast to be eaten, etc. We will be going for a walk around 10am. A nap may happen this afternoon grin.

Have a lovely evening at the dance show Brook.

Some days are harder than others whywhywhy. It’s difficult watching other people celebrate when you no longer can. Hope you have a peaceful day flowers

As always, my thoughts are with those dealing with illness and troubles, I hope the day brings you some comfort and relief.

Have the best day you can, happy Saturday 🌹
