Well, I’ve just looked at various photographs of the RF at yesterday’s Trooping the Colour, and Queen Camilla didn’t look furious at all. In fact, she was smiling a lot.

Camilla looked furious at Trooping the Colour
(123 Posts)I watched The Trooping of the Colour yesterday, and was surprised to see how furious Queen Camilla looked. Used to seeing her smiling and happy, I was concerned about her.
Maybe she isn’t well, maybe she and the king had a disagreement? Whatever the reason, she is a public figure and needs to keep her feelings private. In all the years she was our Queen, the only time I ever saw Queen Elizabeth looking less than composed and happy was in 1952. She was told her beloved father had died and there was a photo of her with a single tear rolling down her cheek.
Camilla needs to follow her example.
I havnt watched this but when I have seen them I have noticed she looks quite miserable sometimes. They are a couple just like anyone else, so imagine having had a row before getting into a carriage together fir all the world to see, furious inside but having to put a brave face on it.
I suppose a more interesting question is why the Reform party chose the colour of the plume of the Irish Guards?
As the Princess of Wales is their Colonel in Chief I would think her choice of colour yesterday was blindingly obvious.

Ah, I see. As I have no interest in Reform, the colour of her dress and a link with reform passed me by
Oh no! I have just had turquoise streaks put in my white hair to brighten it up for the Summer.
And then bought a turquoise eyeliner to bring out the colour of my eyes.
And then bought myself a swirly turquoise dress because I was on a turquoise roll.
Had no idea😱

I found the Princess of Wales' support for Reform rather odd.
What!!! Dear me, how people can make something out of nothing never ceases to amaze me.
Exactly, like Camilla bring furious. Both suggestions utter tosh!
They are a couple with a blended family, some scandal in their background, estrangement of multiple members , in fact what most of us deal with at some point or another, but their life isn’t so bad given they don’t have a financial care in the world, no worries about the electric or council tax bill, NHS operation waits, finding an nhs dentist, the 13 year old car needing repair/insurance, food prices, and everything else going up, etcetera and so on. Now that should put a smile on anyone’s face.
Well I googled Camilla at the Trooping of the colour and only saw one photo where she wasn’t smiling She looked fine to me possibly lost a bit of weight in her face but she looked good in the white suit
I bet Louis is a handful

Sounds fabulous! Especially the hair.

I thought she looked serious at the appropriate time. I would be very surprised if the Princess of Wales made any supportive comments about any political party. Where's your evidence?
I think the OP’s comment may have been tongue in cheek. Turquoise is the colour of the regimental plume.
Spot on about tongue in cheek Jane43, however the Irish Regiments plume is St. Patrick's blue.

I think Nige was going for a brighter version of the Conservative blues (which have changed shade from time to time).

I thought Camilla looked great but she appeared distracted on the balcony as though she couldn’t wait to get it over with.
She is no doubt dealing with many issues behind the scenes or maybe she just needed the loo?
I had it recorded. I think by the time they get to the balcony Camilla is worried about Charles; and with reason. He looked so desperately old and frail.
On the balcony, as 3rd plane passes, Charles face suddenly changes, mouth goes down, and he looks unwell. Camilla notices. From then on in, Camilla seems distracted, worried about him.
By the time the National Anthem is played Charles is visibly struggling, blinking furiously, appears to be in tears and as soon as it finished he turns , hurries away, can't wait to get off the balcony out of public view. Poor man.
It felt to me as if this might be his last Trooping the Colour and perhaps he was thinking the same.
It’s just a colour . I don’t that we should be rereading too much into it. It would be a sad day if we can’t wear different colours because political party’s have them. . Catherine and Charlotte both looked very elegant. Would you have made the same comment about the boys red ties ??
I’m not sure what you were watching. The king looked far from frail .perhaps they were simply remembering those who had lost their lives in India .

I think she's got one of those faces where if she's not obviously smiling she looks grumpy. I'm always being asked what's wrong with me when I'm perfectly happy, just not grinning ear to ear.
Me too, even when I was young.
"Cheer up, love, it might never happen", usually from old men.
I'd think "It already has, I just saw you" but was more polite than them.

👏👏👏
Honestly, who'd be a member of the Royal Family? Their every move, expression, is scrutinised and analysed by armchair critics.

Oh!
It's one of my favourite colours.
How dare Reform appropriate it!
Lathyrus that sounds lovely.
Oh dear, better watch what colours I wear. Today , blue. Yesterday , red and one day last week I had on a striped multicoloured top.
Obviously I change my allegiance depending on on what day it is.
I guess we really don't know just how the King's cancer treatment is going and they'd never tell us if it's not good. I expect we'd all look old and tired if we were going through it too. Look at how Queen Elizabeth toughed it all out, we could see she was getting more frail and ailing but I don't think we knew she was suffering from cancer and putting on a brave face. I expect Charles is doing the same, stoic to the last but I'd like to think he is beating it
I feel a bit sorry for Charles. He waits all those years to be King and then shortly afterwards is seriously ill.
There is a rumour it's pancreatic cancer. Poor man.
On a lighter note Louis is a loveable scamp.

Is this the wrong forum for this OP?
Oh sh*t! Thanks. I am absolutely useless on here! How do I get out of this mess? People are responding , but I really should be on the correct thread. I started off on chats because I couldn’t find anything about the Royals! Help!!

What does this have to do with Pets?
Nothing at all! I posted on the wrong thread and people answered! Now I don’t know how to get out of the mess
I’m in! 🫢
I said to Dh that I thought Camilla has looked very serious on recent events. Different to how she used to be , smiling and looking happy

You have every right to disagree with me, as I sometimes do with you. However, I resent you calling my comment ‘utter tosh’ and think you were extremely rude to say that. Please be a little more polite.

That’s EXACTLY what I was saying. She didn’t look at all happy and did, at one point, look very cross. I hope she is ok.
