Camilla looked furious at Trooping the Colour

I watched The Trooping of the Colour yesterday, and was surprised to see how furious Queen Camilla looked. Used to seeing her smiling and happy, I was concerned about her.
Maybe she isn’t well, maybe she and the king had a disagreement? Whatever the reason, she is a public figure and needs to keep her feelings private. In all the years she was our Queen, the only time I ever saw Queen Elizabeth looking less than composed and happy was in 1952. She was told her beloved father had died and there was a photo of her with a single tear rolling down her cheek.
Camilla needs to follow her example.

Queen Elizabeth cryed when Britannia decommissioned. So did I 😥

Is this the wrong forum for this OP?

I found the Princess of Wales' support for Reform rather odd.

She looked fine t me?

Is there a link to seeing for ourselves?

I thought she looked serious at the appropriate time. I would be very surprised if the Princess of Wales made any supportive comments about any political party. Where's your evidence?

What does this have to do with Pets?

I think the OP’s comment may have been tongue in cheek. Turquoise is the colour of the regimental plume.

She chose the wrong hat for a breezy day. She had to hold on to it several times to keep it in place. The Duchess if Edinburgh wearing a smart pillbox style had no trouble.

I thought she looked fine, I actually thought she looked lovely.

Ah, I see. As I have no interest in Reform, the colour of her dress and a link with reform passed me by

I didn’t watch it so unless you can show us what you mean going by JaxJackies photo link she looks pretty happy to me and her normal self

I think she's got one of those faces where if she's not obviously smiling she looks grumpy. I'm always being asked what's wrong with me when I'm perfectly happy, just not grinning ear to ear.

Although I'm not a royalist.
I do rather like Camilla. I think that the camera simply caught her at the wrong moment. I know I've got some truly terrible photos where I've been snapped unexpectedly & I look like an angry, ratty shrew! Which quite frankly is not very far from the truth. 🥴

I watched the Trooping of the Colour from start to finish. I thought all the Royal ladies looked lovely. Queen Camilla looked wonderful in her white outfit. The longer length coat was very flattering and elegant.
Throughout, the Queen looked perfectly pleasant and happy, smiling and chatting to the King from time to time. Well done to them both and to the Princess of Wales for being 'on duty' for all those hours. It must have been very tiring.

I think both Charles and Cam look tired and worried and they look their age.

More will come out soon, I expect.

Delila Sun 15-Jun-25 14:27:03

Queen Elizabeth frequently looked grumpy.

I thought they looked fine.
Was struck by how much Charles looks like his mother as he is getting older.

What!!! Dear me, how people can make something out of nothing never ceases to amaze me.

In that case she shouldn’t wear red - Labour, blue - Conservatives, yellow - Lib Dem’s, green - for the greens etc. …

It was as odd as suggesting Camilla looked "furious".

Many years ago Diana Princess of Wales wore an outfit of a similar colour to the outfit worn by Catherine Princess of Wales yesterday.
No Reform Party in those days.

I thought Camilla looked great but she appeared distracted on the balcony as though she couldn’t wait to get it over with.

She is no doubt dealing with many issues behind the scenes or maybe she just needed the loo?

Marg75 Sun 15-Jun-25 15:00:02

I definitely think something was bothering her on the balcony. She kept talking to Charles and looking around at the family. The rest of the time she was fine. They both looked tired though.
