Camilla looked furious at Trooping the Colour

I watched The Trooping of the Colour yesterday, and was surprised to see how furious Queen Camilla looked. Used to seeing her smiling and happy, I was concerned about her.
Maybe she isn’t well, maybe she and the king had a disagreement? Whatever the reason, she is a public figure and needs to keep her feelings private. In all the years she was our Queen, the only time I ever saw Queen Elizabeth looking less than composed and happy was in 1952. She was told her beloved father had died and there was a photo of her with a single tear rolling down her cheek.
Camilla needs to follow her example.

How unpleasant. Now, if a horse had run amok and trampled the protestors ........

Maybe she's having menopausal problems and desperately needed the loo or/and a sit down.
Camilla? I hope she's past the menopause TheWeirdo; she's nearly 78.
She was probably longing for a nice cuppa or a G&T.

I think Camilla has a "resting bitch face" which I sadly share with her. So if not actually smiling or laughing, I look very grumpy if not furious.
I thought she looked lovely. Love her clothes and style. I bet she is a great laugh and a good friend. And is such a good companion for Charles. So sad they didn't marry when they should have done when young.
I expect she worries about Charles' health. I will be very sad for them if there are new or continuing health problems which we know nothing about.

Thank you grannynannywanny for the link,

Thank you for that Youtube link. Horrible behaviour from the loud protesters.

A G&T and a fag 😁

She looked fine to me!

I'd like to return to the days of yore when Camilla was chased around Waitrose by someone lobbing bread rolls at her (wasteful).

Barmeyoldbat Mon 16-Jun-25 13:50:14

I believe the Queen has troublesome painful feet, so maybe this was why she was looking less than happy

grannygran Mon 16-Jun-25 13:51:22

I think Camilla is very rude at times..especially almost pushing yo get on the balcony first..as she has walked in front if the king several times..I'm not a fan of hers..

Cambia Mon 16-Jun-25 13:52:08

Oh for goodness sake leave her alone! Haven’t a clue if she was happy/sad or furious but we all have off days and why should she be accountable to us? If I had to that job, I would be sacked in days, no probably minutes!!

mabon1 Mon 16-Jun-25 13:52:37

She will ever be a queen for me. Anyway it's time to get rid of that "firm", totally inappropriate for this day and age never mind the obscene number of homes they have and the amount of money spent on clothing particularly for the women.

Allira Mon 16-Jun-25 13:53:57

Cambia 😁
I agree!

And I suffer with my feet too, Barmyoldbat so have empathy with others who do.

Granra2 Mon 16-Jun-25 13:59:54

Me too. The colour didn’t register. So
Good to see her looking happy and healthy again, she is a beautiful lady.

OMG!
You made that assessment based on what exactly?
The colour of her outfit?
Now that’s the definition of ODD! 🤦‍♀️

Israel and Iran are at war, 270 people have been killed in a plane crash and this country is descending into total chaos under a government that is not fit for purpose. Do I really need to see a group of Royals standing on a balcony waving to the proletariat below?. Before anyone suggests that I don't have to look at it, may I point out that it was on the front page of every newspaper and the same with the TV channels.
I couldn't care less what any of them are doing and most people I know feel exactly the same.

OldFrill

I found the Princess of Wales' support for Reform rather odd.

You obviously ‘Cared enough’ to put pen to paper and tick us all off!
Just going to sit in a dark room now with a bag over my head in case I have any unacceptable thoughts that are not related to the doom and gloom that constantly surrounds us! 🤦‍♀️

buffyfly9 Mon 16-Jun-25 14:28:40

It depends whether in the depths of doom and gloom one is cheered up by some pretty frocks Lizzie 12. grin

I didn't watch with any great attention, but I didn't notice any bad humour from Camilla. She looked fine to me. She seems to do her royal duties with enthusiasm, I suppose she didn't think she'd ever be doing royal duties with Charles!

Dorset Mon 16-Jun-25 14:49:11

Queen C looked immaculate and exquisitely dressed as usual. I watched it throughout and she was continuously talking with the King so I do not agree with her seeming serious. Queen E was born into our royalty and had a lifetime to never put a foot wrong bless her. This Queen C is Queen Consort who married into the Royal family, maybe one should not compare.

Mauduit24 Mon 16-Jun-25 14:54:37

Catherine was wearing the colour of the Irish guards . After all she is their colonel in chief

Barbadosbelle Mon 16-Jun-25 15:26:19

And me.

I think that crossstitchfan has been on the lunchtime sherry!

GrannyGravy13 Mon 16-Jun-25 15:33:38

I have just had a quick Google and the latest figures show that the Royal family cost each U.K. citizen £1.29 in the year 2023-2024.

Money well spent as far as I am concerned.

Mumajb1 Mon 16-Jun-25 15:38:12

Pleeeeasse it was hot and they were on fully display in formal clothes plus they are in their late 70s and both with health issues . Give her a break . As for the POW supporting any political party by her choice of the colour of her outfit . Words fail me . What ridiculous poppycock .
