Button pressed too soon!
…….. at the gym, and several loads of washing to put on - good drying day..🌞
Wishing a peaceful day for us all, especially for those with struggles.
A late good morning from Shropshire.Like LLFL we have overslept. Will read your posts later.
I’ve overslept! I’ll wish you all a good day!
Good morning all,
I’ve only flicked through the posts and will read thoroughly when I’m back home as I have to go somewhere soon.
I think your day out sounds wonderful latedecember1963. I watched it on GW on Friday and it looked very good. I like Adam Frost, and he’s had a good background training with Geoff Hamilton, hasn’t he?
Another lovely quilt GrandMattie and a superb photo Greyduster.
Wishing you all a good day.
Good morning Mick and all from Sunnyside sandhills northwest coast.
Out yesterday to big garden fete not far away. Hard to park, so busy. Very enjoyable with lots for children to do. They were so excited by a simple thing like a woman creating masses of bubbles with long ropes. I sat and watched them running about trying to catch them. Then inside the hall, I listened to two talks on local history. I do wish people would speak up though. I know I have tinnitus, but I’m sure other people were finding it hard to hear…
I should tackle a painting I started a few days ago. It’s promised to my son, but I keep deflecting it with other things, like singing practice.
GM I saw a quilt online like your coloured quilts and it was very expensive!
Thinking of the FGTs and all🌺
A good day yesterday culminating in supper with a friend as I had a duck crown in the freezer which needed eating; so long since I cooked a proper meal and I was relieved to find I could still do it. Nothing much planned for today apart from the gardener who only needs encouragement as he is excellent and I am lucky to have him. We are promised hot dry weather this week so watering will undoubtedly feature.
Message withdrawn at poster's request.
Morning all. Had a lovely day watching a sailing event involving GCs at Brightlingsea. A picturesque spot, one of many on the Essex coast. It happened to coincide with ‘Brightlingsea’s Blessing and Reclaiming of the Waters’, an annual event, so there was plenty going on.
Back to reality today with a class at
Good morning everyone from sunny Lancashire.
Yesterday we had our usual walk down to the Dock gates. It was very warm in the sun with a rather cool breeze. No rain forecast for today so we will probably do the same again. The pollen forecast is high so must remember to take a hay fever pill.
No appointments in the diary for this week, I need to reorder one of my meds. I use the calendars on my iPad and iPhone to keep track of everything. I also need to make an appointment with the optician, I think my glasses are ready for updating as I am struggling with small print and screens.
As always, my thoughts are with those dealing with illness and troubles, I hope the day brings you some comfort and relief.
Have the best day you can, happy Monday🌹
Morning, it was sunny earlier, now cloud cover has moved in. Your husband is doing really well Gingster 👍
Enjoy your well deserved day off Bellas.
We had a delicious lunch at our friends yesterday, roast beef followed by cheesecake, the weather was just right to sit out afterwards.
Today is the usual voluntary phone, some houseworky bits and checking the tyre pressures on my car, it threw a warning yesterday. Quiz tonight which is always a really sociable evening.

Good morning from a beautiful sunnyN. Bucks.
Day at home for me. On line art class this morning and a couple of fruit cakes to bake. Hopefully an afternoon relaxing inthe garden with some craftwork after a busy weekend.
Hopefully an afternoon today Ida good one for all.
Good morning from dry and bright South Lanarkshire.
We are home from our four day childminding stint. I can’t believe how tired I was given that the children were absolutely no trouble at all. The youngest was up being sick during Friday night it was as right as rain afterwards, strange. The older ones really looked after themselves and helped with the younger two as well as the dogs, it was really good to be able to spend time with them.
Love the quilt gM. Enjoy your day off Bellasnana, it’s not easy to say no, well done.
I’ve a couple of parcels to collect today and laundry to catch up with.
Greyduster what a great shot of those beautiful creatures.
Wishing everyone the best day possible.
Good morning all from the Scottish Borders. Sunny start.
A walk with the U3A group today and picnic in the leader's garden.
Yesterday's garden party was lovely. My friends have such interesting friends and their garden is magical.
The film last night was All of us Strangers very sad but well acted.
You have recovered well Ash enjoy your class and DH return.
I've been on trains like that Latedecember. One of the worst Newark to Edinburgh, Christmas time. When I finally found a seat I had to remove someone's giant case from the footwell and sit with it crammed against my leg clutching my own bag.
I'm glad you enjoyed the garden show!
Hoping everyone has a good day.
Good morning Mick and everyone from sunny Carlisle.
It turned grey and showery yesterday afternoon so I wasn't tempted into the garden. I had a rest day, just pootling around at this and that, nothing serious...I made some scones, read magazines and did puzzles etc, more a rest day for the body not the brain,
Today will be housework and laundry in the morning and, hopefully, out in the garden this afternoon. I have 2 plants to hack in. I'd like to get to the garden centre this week as I have one or two spaces to fill and need some sacks of bark also.
Do have the best possible day all of you.
Good morning all from Polmont where it's currently 14° and dry. The breeze has died down. I'm glad you are having a day off Bellasnana. You deserve it! Ashcombe it's nice to hear you so positive. GrandMattie I like the sound of that quilt.
Yesterday I got dressed and did dishes, read a bit and watched tv.
Today will be much the same. I might run the hoover over which won't take long. Have a good day all
Good morning from a sunny W Kent. Cleaning lady this morning and a pile of washing and ironing for me
Happy family day yesterday for my DB’s birthday and Father’s Day although the large scale cooking is a lot now without a good deal of help, which I got. Great to see DGS3 which was a surprise
Best wishes
Good morning everyone from Inverness, we’ve a mix of blue sky and light grey cloud and if feels warm
Yesterday evening we enjoyed watching DGD in her dance show, she did really well and it was lovely to see her looking so happy. Today I’m off to the gym for a couple of classes and then gardening
whywhywhy hope you feel a bit better today
Thinking of everyone with worries and struggles, hope today is gentle and take care all whatever the day brings 💐
Good morning from currently overcast Wiltshire.
DD2 invited us over for tea as it was Father’s Day and gave her dad some craft beer. DGD3 gave him a hand made card featuring a game of Solitaire, one of her favourite activities. We sat in their very hot garden. The new undercover construction is almost complete and flooring finished. Other GP’s are giving them wisteria plants and a grapevine to grow up it. When we went DGS2 asked me not to go home as we could stay for ever and ever and live in the trampoline. 😂 He’s not overly given to saying things like that as we are usually ignored by him when we go unlike his sister. All was calm without any fights between the GC’s.
I’m glad you stood your ground Bella and had a nice lunch out. I’ve also felt put upon at times. I’m happy for you having your DH back with you tomorrow Ash.
Have a good Monday.
