Hi all, there is a cloud over the kitchen, but I think soop would want her place of solace to keep going, so..
A sunny warm day, watering early, bedding x 2 washed and dried easily, MrJ remade the beds.
My daughter is set up with the children for a few hot days camping, better than rain though!
We had bbq leftovers for dinner, nice and easy.
My thoughts are, of course, with the soops, I also hope all in the quiet kitchen have had a gentle day.
What struggles so many have ❤️

A lovely sunny day here, so i went for an earlier than usual walk. Started the ironing pile and will finish it tomorrow hopefully. Both DDs visited this afternoon, DD1 bearing thank you gifts from the dog for looking after her last week! I miss her!
I’ve watered the plants that were wilting and hope the rest survive until we get some rain.
Thinking of the fgts and of course soop and her DH.

I'm very thankful to have had a very busy week of happy family events- a few days away with Wee Boy and his family at the Solway Firth, my cousin's wedding at a country castle near Biggar, and today, a delicious afternoon tea for the ladies of the family, hosted by my sister in a nice local hotel for her DiL's Baby Shower. Lots of driving but lots to celebrate and count my blessings.

Good morning all.
After another rubbish night, partly the heat but mostly very annoying itchy bites which I “gathered“ on Friday, so I am only just having my morning cuppa in bed so I will join you.
Another hot day forecast which is not suiting me at all.
My S and two GS’s are due back today from a week away in N Wales so my peaceful days are at an end for the rest of the school holidays.
Wishing all the poorlies and their carers a better day and maybe better news.

I’ve made a coffee so I’ll join you. My anxiety levels are high. It’s scan day tomorrow for Himself and these chemo tablets are brutal. It distresses me to see him so but we have to have hope. x

Morning all, I usually read the GM thread first so I'm not really sure why Ive popped into the lovely kitchen now instead of the evening. However, now I'm here I didnt want to just read and go. Thoughts with FGT and Himself hoping along with them that the regime is working and 🤞🏻 all goes as it should tomorrow.

Also just wanted to say thankyou to Baggs for keeping us updated and hope that Soop is comfortable and feeling better and that she and MrSoop are home, or at least closer to home, soon.

Thankyou too to JaxJacky who has, I feel, become the temporary custodian of this lovely place- keeping it all as Soop would wish it tom be in her absence.

Have the best day you can folks, it's my other half's 68th birthday today- we've had a bit of a year of it what with family issues and health problems but we're soldiering on.
BBQ later in our garden and maybe a few G+T's shall be imbibed-well it'd be rude not too . xx

I am 20 years older than him so tell him he has a lot of living to do yet.
Sainsbury’s has just delivered and is packed away, the dishwasher is emptied from last night and I feel as if I have done a full day down a coal mine.
I have just cancelled an evening out on Wednesday as I know until this heat cools down I must just potter and do little else.

Good morning everyone. It's raining here, very overcast but not cold. My plans today involve ironing and making soup, simple routines after a very busy spell. My house has been neglected, but as people say in this neck of the woods, ' The house will be there when you're not!'

I hope Soop has had a comfortable night and all goes well for her transfer to Oban. Thinking MrSoop too. 💕
