Good morning everyone from sunny Lancashire.

MrB and I will be enjoying our usual walk down to the Dock gates today. I also need to collect some prescriptions from Morrisons at some point.

I’m not feeling too bright this morning after a disturbed night. I think the UTI has returned so will also need to collect a test kit from the GP surgery.

Hope the work is complete soon and you can enjoy the results Kalu.

Enjoy the bear hunt Marydoll, I hope madam is in a good mood today!

A warm welcome to any new posters I may have missed.

Thinking of our poorly Grans and families, as always.

Have the best day you can everyone 🌹

Good morning from a bright Co Durham.
A busy day yesterday. Early Sainsbury’s delivery followed by lovely cleaner to change beds then in the afternoon my dear sister and husband arrived (from Blossoming neck of the woods). She brought back my engagement ring which I had cut off earlier this year. She knew a good jeweller , who has done a great job. Yesterday evening we went to our local pub/restaurant and were joined by dd2, dear sil and dgd. A good time was had by all.
Today we’re going to Durham Crematorium, as it three years since we scattered mum’s ashes there. A bittersweet day.
Unfortunately my sister has a dentist appointment tomorrow so they will have to leave this evening.
It so lovely to have something to report 😀.
Thinking of those with mountains to climb.

Morning from a grey S Hants but the sun is trying to peek through.
Cheering news of your eyes Ash, they are so precious.
A quiet day yesterday, more washing that escaped a shower, some weeding, more tomatoes picked, slow but steady. The back lawn has patchy greener parts but nowhere needing a cut, it’ll come back.
Following my son later as he drops his car for MOT, MrJ is on a voluntary drive, I’m going to wash floors and dust this morning.
Sounds great TheWeirdo well done.

Morning all, so pleased to read about himself feeling better and hope his return home goes well for Fgt. flowers

I know when my husband had his aortic valve replaced, 15 months ago, he was home after 5 days and I didnt feel ready, but we managed and took things a day at a time. Once he could drive again, he really started to recover well as he got some independence back which really made a difference I found.

I suffer from health anxiety and results from my annual blood test done 2 days ago show that some are borderline and a retest is needed, so I'm panicking now as its not happened before- liver function and kidney being 2 of them which really has me worried- others being cholesterol levels which have increased slightly.
Any words of advice from you lovely people who might have experienced similar would be of great help to me now as I do tend to catastophrize ( is that a word?) - which really annoys my husband who was very accepting of his health situation and just 'got on with it'!

Off to do housework now-keeping busy helps me ignore issues I should deal with. You'd think I'd know better at my age-66!
Have as good a day as you can folks, hopefully we'll get some sunshine here in Suffolk tomorrow, which might help lift my mood as its raining at the moment!

GrandmaC47 we’re just back from collecting my prescriptions from the pharmacy and a walk along the Marina. It’s a beautiful sunny day here.

Grandmabatty

marydoll I made both lemon and lime curd last year for the first time and it's really straightforward.

I've just seen this post and Marydoll's.

Marydoll, I have made lemon curd using the Hairy Bikers' recipe, a bit of a faff but it was delicious.
