Terence Stamp has died

Oh no that’s sad. 😢

I used to think he was gorgeous

He was indeed. He was 87.

Was just about to post this.

I absolutely loved him. First saw him in Far From The Madding Crowd as the very handsome Sergeant Troy.
I have watched this many times over the years and he was the most handsome man going.

RIP Terence.

Oh no. Such beauty. And he aged beautifully, too.I loved the way he moved into more avant Garde films as he got older.

I remember him best in The Collector, very sinister, and Far from The Madding Crowd.
Felt he never used his talent as much as he should, although his family said he has left a large body of work behind.

As we age it’s inevitable that we will lose the stars and musicians of our generation.

I admired Terence Stamp after seeing him as Troy in Far From The Madding Crowd and years later as Zod .
I agree with eazybee - I felt that he could have made more films .

Saw him in Blow Up and Far From The Madding Crowd. All my friends thought he was really good looking, and he was, but not my cup of tea. However, fabulous actor.

No - I was just reading about him a few days ago and how he shared a flat with Michael Caine. I think he was voted the most beautiful man on Earth at one point - could be wrong? Even older, he still looked elegant and distinguished. RIP

Lovely actor. The last thing I saw him in was Priscilla. RIP

Loved him most in Far From The Madding Crowd the definitive Troy. I really liked the poster from the film, him staring directly at the camera dark, dashing with the mesmerising eyes and Julie Christie beautiful in profile. Didn't the sixties throw up some great people? so sad to be losing another who defined that era.

My mind also immediately went to "Waterloo Sunset" when I saw he had died. For some reason he came to mind a few days ago, but I have no idea why. He was rather lovely...
