If all the animal-themed things in your home were real, what animals would you own?

I’m hare/rabbit daft - that’s all I have.

A harvest mouse, that’s it.

3 hares, an elephant, 2 mice, 2 cats and a dragon.🤭

Oh, I forgot the hares on my roller blind (from Dunelm, I love it)

I love all animals (as anyone can see) Most are pictures. The parrots are on a shower curtain from Asda.

7 moose, 2 dogs 1 hare, 1 fish and an otter.

🦆🦆🦆 I have three lots, a cockerel and a picture of birds on a line.

I’m struggling to think of anything apart from the actual dog, and his bed which is printed with little spaniels too, but I do have a brooch that’s a glittery tortoise, from the 1980s, although I haven’t worn it since, so a very quiet tortoise it would be.

Ducks. We use the wooden ones as doorstops.
GS2 learned to say ‘duck’ very early on as the river is near by. Has now progressed to goose and swan but I don’t have any of those.

I don't think animals should be 'owned'. Domestic pets can be taken into a home and respected for the type of animal they are. Humans have always felt superior to animals and we really aren't.

Lots of leopards. Two of my previous cats were leopard print (Bengals) and their matching cushions and beds are still in use for my remaining cat who is black and white.

A herd of Highland cows, 6 Herdwick sheep all downstairs and Pink Ted in the bedroom, but he's not animal themed; he's just Pink Ted.

I'm not sure I have too many themed animal furnishings but I'm joining in anyway! Cats! I love cats, I have cat wallpaper on my phone so that should count for something. Then dogs, they're my runner ups in domestic animals, they have to come 2nd I'm afraid because when we have the grand dog it focuses the mind in picking up their deposits and disposing of those. In my dreams I'd have a few acres for my alpacas/llamas and I'll have a duck pond too thank you, that would attract various water fowl. As much as I love wild beasts, especially the big cats, I'm not sure I could accommodate them without worries. So I'll leave it there.

I love elephants and collected glass and ceramic ones when younger. Big mistake! I still get given them as presents decades later. I no longer collect them but have more than I would want.
