"I know there are people worse off then me"
Good Morning Everyone,
A dark but dry start here in Brackley this morning.
Up to my usual routine of housework , followed by a bus trip to Bicester to shop and chat to those I know.
Have lunch and relax this afternoon.
My Health is OK,
Take Care,
Mick

Susan56. You and your brother's family are in my thoughts.
Thursday will be hard.
Sending love and strength.
Good Morning from Durham - not a cloud in the sky, unlike yesterday, when it was overcast all day, with rain and no chance of seeing moonrise.
Usual Monday morning coffee with a friend, then I’ll finish DD2’s laundry, pack it up and take it and Little Dog back to her. I’d sussed out some items I want from a nearby garden centre, so I’ll go and get those before I drive home.
Enjoy Northumberland MD hope the weather holds out for you.
Best wishes to all. X
Good morning all from the Scottish Borders. Clear and dry.
Back to the routine after a crazy couple of weeks. Ageing well class this morning and U3A history group this afternoon.
The bric a brac sale has
Good morning from a sunny N. Bucks. Hope it stays for the day. Some pottering today and most importantly I must order new reading glasses to replace the ones I lost last week.
Youngest DGS starts ‘big’ school today, one very excited little boy. Hope to hear all about it later.
Wishing all a good day.
Pressed too soon.
My sale of unwanted treasures raised over £100. I have donated that to Charity.
There is still a lot unsold but it's a start.
The open studios went well too.
Have a lovely holiday in Northumberland MD. We used to take a cottage at Millfield in the Autumn school holidays. So much to do and see.
I didn't see that Bloody moon either 😕 😂🤣
Hope everyone has a good day. Thinking of Susan this week
Good morning from a sunny Suffolk after a lovely day yesterday. There was a strong wind til early evening and the sea was really wild during the morning as we enjoyed our dog walk on the beach. Much too rough for swimming, not that we had any intention of so doing, and even the few labradors on the sea kept well away.
Our walk today will be on the footpath along the fields at the bottom of the lane. Nothing planned after that but some tidying up of the border down the side of the house might be a good idea.
Hope all have a good day.
Good morning from Cambridgeshire where another sunny day is forecast but hoping the wind will be less fierce today.
Lots of us seem to be off on holiday and wishing everyone happy adventures. I too am off to Crete this week. It will be our first visit there.
Today I need to pop into town for a few bits for my holiday and then just a quiet day before picking DGD2 up later. I am worried about DD1 who is on long term sick from work so will give her a phone call later and also a close friend is going through a worrying time so hope to have a phone chat with her too. I’m hoping also to enjoy time sitting in the garden.
Take care everyone have a good day
Good morning Mick and everyone from a glorious morning in Cheshire. I didn't catch the red moon last night as there was too much cloud, which was infuriating because in the clear bits I could see the stars. When I woke at 4.00 there was moonlight. I caught a faint aura of red around the moon. Thinking it was probably my eyes, I leaned out of the window to photograph it. There was indeed a faint redish circle around the moon.
I'm feeling both excited and nervous about the builders starting to re-design the front of the house tomorrow. Today's task is to move everything out of their way. Three days they said. Finger's crossed. I've wanted to do this for years and now it's happening.
Northumberland is very beautiful MD. I hope you can enjoy your holiday with no wellness issues. Thinking of all with sadness and worries.
Morning, blue sky in S Hants, a beautiful start to the day.
A difficult week Susan I hope you find some solace today.
Sounds a marvellous weekend Sar I'm pleased it went well.
We actually won some steaks on the meat draw yesterday, at last, in a very busy pub, the Chase the Ace competition is now up to over £8,000, lots of ‘non regulars’ turn up.
We didn’t see the moon, but some people locally did, we are too built up.
Phones today.
Blossoming is ok.

Good morning from Sunnyside sandhills northwest coast. Cat had me up a couple of times in the night..
Rainy yesterday, but I had a longish walk in the sand dunes at the bottom of the road and picked some wild sweet peas (balsam). As they are being removed officially, I didn’t think the wildflower police would tap me on the shoulder.
FaceTime with flying DD who was on airport standby and time to kill. Between us we ordered wallpaper for the redecoration of the spare bedroom, renewed house insurance etc etc. She’s an excellent PA!
DS might come over today to move heavy furniture for the redecoration, but it’s not for a couple of weeks. I’m away early tomorrow for a little break so will get organised for that.
Have a restful day Ashcombe and thoughts to Susan🌺
Good morning from a sunny south coast. I’ll strip the bed this morning and change the duvet back to the slightly heavier one for when the nights get chillier. Not my favourite job but it’s no use putting it off.
Nothing else planned other than outside jobs.
Hope you all have the best possible day.
Good morning all.
Blood test for Dh this morning , a pop to the bank and home to try to tidy up a large shrub that’s far too high.
Have a good day
Good morning, Michael12 and everyone!
I sat at home yesterday, awaiting the government emergency alarm at 3 pm, but it never came. However, the first one of 2023 did, so that's okay!
I've had a brilliant 3 days off, doing nothing at all except watching YouTube videos and films! I was totally gobsmacked by 'Like Father, Like Son' with Robson Green; everyone played their parts brilliantly! Good gripping action and on the edge of your seat!
Starting another shift today from 4 pm to 4 am. Getting closer to the 30th of November, when I'll be handing in a month's notice!
I trotted into Spar and bought myself a pack of Spar Sticky Toffee Pudding, stuffed it in the microwave for a few minutes, then covered it in runny cream, all washed down with a glass of Alpro Nutty Almond milk, and it was piggin' gorgeous!
Have a good one, all of you!
Morning all from a beautifully sunny Devon.
I had a dreadful night. I was still awake at 4 am and was woken by my alarm at 9 am and brother ringing from Australia.
The same old thing lost me sleep - fretting about my two so sons. I was also thinking about the problems in the USA. I read a wide variety of newspapers and other media and they are heading towards fascism like a bunch of headless chickens. And Farage in this country - what is he playing at?
We are visiting a NT property today and will have lunch there.
Have a good day. I think the rain ☔️ is back tomorrow.
It is our Golden Wedding next year and I can’t imagine celebrating without ALL the family.
The boys and I are at soft play. It's smaller than the usual one but just as busy therefore twice as noisy. I have had a bacon roll and am drinking a cuppa. With luck they will get bored soon.
A morning of domestic maintenance, which is why I am so late. Gutters have been cleaned, alarm service due shortly, lovely gardener will be here this afternoon. Lots of expenditure but all worthwhile.
Meanwhile I am spending a lot of time listening to a family member with a serious problem which I can’t help with but can be a sympathetic ear. The difficulties caused by picking the wrong partner are just huge.
