About 30 years ago I was given a box of Milk Tray by one of my children so of course I said how wonderful they were... thirty years later, what is my default Christmas/birthday present? Yes, you're right it's a big box of Milk Tray!
Does anyone remember Dairybox chocolates? When I was around nine years old I dreamt there was a box of Dairybox on a table close by. I actually reached out to pick up the box.... and fell out of bed. No table....no chocolates!
A chocolate orange -something thrilling happens when you bang it on the tablet and those segments invite you to eat them . I have one at Easter , on my birthday and on Christmas day .
Crunchie used to be my favourite too but last time I had one I found it very sweet. I like a dark chocolate Bounty but you don’t often see the dark choc ones.
Snap. Loved the crunchie Bar, but sadly it sticks to my teeth and makes them ache. 🥲
But now, a Dark Bounty ..mmmmm. Where's Jeeves when you need him...
i meet a friend at our local tesco's cafe every wednesday after we've shopped. usually i have a kit kat with my coffee - i tend not to eat chocolate otherwise. today unfortunately she's not well so i did my shopping on my own and decided not to have coffee - mainly because the lift isn't working and i just hate the travellator thing alone!
at the moment it's Bounty bars, I have one every day, keep a stash hidden, might be addicted....Mabon, I also eat beautiful fruit...not just as often though...
Mint aeros are my favourite but wouldn't refuse any of those mentioned. I'm a chocoholic but had to get it under control to lose weight. I succeeded but miss my chocolate.
Starbar would be my first choice but I would happily (greedily?) accept any of the others! Not keen on coffee fillings so my DH has to eat those before he can choose anything else from a box of chocolates!
Mmmm! Love almost all of them, but my current favourite is cherry covered in dark chocolate. Does anyone remember Fry’s 5 boys? I think I only saw them in a vending machine on Stirling station platform. Nowadays I’d probably find them too sweet. @Kate1949 We were doing so well - similar name, same birth year and similar fathers, but oh no - you blew it with the Bounty bars! Heartbreak.
