Good morning from a sunny Bristol.
I tried to get in for the last 5 hours, to no avail. Now Mick must have gone off on one of his morning jaunts.
Yesterday was quiet, I made a “ton” of marmalade as my stock were getting low and took it to church.
The podiatrist came at 1230 and did my sweet neighbour. It’s easier for him to come here, and cheaper. By the time she had done me, it was past 2 pm! So I had a late lunch and an even later nap.
Today, I’ve put some washing on the line and baked a traybake sponge, to be iced with lemon icing for tomorrow. I have also made GF flapjacks. The FAB cafe has invited a singer who will sing songs of the 60s I believe. The last time we had something like that, over 100 people came.
I’m going shopping this afternoon with my neighbour; I hope her friend doesn’t come.
Have a good day all.

Good late afternoon, or is it early evening?
Only just ‘found’ you 🙄
After an early walk with tiddler I spent the morning catching up with housework and laundry before spending a couple of hours in my Shed. It was really warm in the sunshine.
Yesterday DH and I cleared the small border under the kitchen window, it’s north-facing and gets little sun on one end and none on the other. A Christmas box was completely dominating it, so it’s been hoicked out and all I have left is a couple of Christmas rose hellebores, a white phlox and an arum lily which is struggling.
I will dig in loads of compost before I do anything else to it. I think I’ll put in lots of bulbs, mainly white, perhaps pink, and see how it goes.
There’s a Handl climbing rose and a Duchess of Cornwall clematis growing through it. They’ll need pruning to rejuvenate them, I haven’t touched them for several years so badly in need of tlc.
I hope today went well for everyone 🌹
