Cordoba and the Roman bridge, used in the Game or Thrones series.

Good morning Mick and all GN's from a very wet and grey morning. White rabbits x 3 to you all. My goodness it's me that needs the good luck ! So at the moment I have no Internet connection on my laptop. No Alexa with only TV basic in one room and radio and basic TV in other
Phone is all I have at the moment to contact. So for now can read posts but not really send much. Still a bit shaky but thankfully better than the last few days. No excuse with this weather. Will either be ironing or paper sorting.
Wishing you all a good day and fingers crossed will be back tomorrow.

Silly silly welcome to Mick's place.

Good morning all from the Scottish Borders where it seems dark.

I have to take some clay across to the community store today to help plug gaps in the chimney!
Yarn group and a bus trip to a bank to sort out some business, impossible online. Also to return clothes I bought online why? which don't fit.
Gaelic class yesterday evening was fun. We are learning a song together and are each to prepare a 5 minute presentation on something we are passionate about.

That garden is tranquil Peli Thanks for your golden sea.

What an odd place for a clinic. I have been there too. Grandmabatty. Thinking of you as you await your results.

Hope everyone has some joy today.

Good morning all from a wet Glasgow.

A quick visit today. I'm off early for my CT scan, but DS and family have just landed at Heathrow and are waiting for the shuttle to Glasgow. I need to drop off morning rolls and square slice en route, as requested.
Much as I want to see them, I don't want them to know where I am going this morning, so it will be a quick drop off.
The big reveal will be tomorrow, now that I know they are home safely.
I hope you aren't too sore, GMB. I experienced the same as you, it was pretty uncomfortable. sad

Yesterday was out forty eighth wedding anniversary, but neither of us were up for celebrating, but did share a bottle of bubbly last night.
However, if my scan goes OK (DH is more anxious than me, I'm used to these sorts of things) and I am not radioactive (I once couldn't go back to school after one, the HT was furious), we may go for a fish tea.

Have a pleasant day folks and best wishes to the poorlies.x

Good morning from N Bucks where (here at any rate) there are the beginnings of a fine drizzle. Relieved that I forced myself to cut front and back grass yesterday - even after a few days it was surprisingly moist- took ages, but ☑️ I finished it!
As BlueSapphire says, off to MK to meet up. . I have shoes to take back to Charles Clinkard and 2 jumpers to M&S so were I to give in to temptation it might be excusable. Ginny I had a frozen shoulder for a good 6 months after Paw died and the bra predicament is one I remember well.
Your tv viewing sounded a bit like paint drying Karma until I realised you meant A Horseman Riding By! What a difference capital letters make don’t they?
Wishing you all a pleasant day and month.
Winter draws on!

Morning, high cloud in S Hants, I hope you get the results soon
Gbatty and all is positive.
Yesterday was a walk, then I blitzed the kitchen, but not the cooker, that’s booked in for a professional clean later this month. We met up for a drink with our friend in the evening who was 78 on Monday, still butchering 30 hours a week.
I’m out for lunch with a friend today, I’d like to lose a fe2 pounds, so careful menu choices are in order.
I see there’s a big strike in Françe this week Ashcombe I thought of you two.

Good morning from a grey skies East Yorkshire.

Today we are going over to our holiday home to put away the outside furniture and a few other jobs require doing. We shall stay overnight as I fancy a trip to a nearby market tomorrow.

Keeping fingers crossed that alls well after your recall Grandmabatty you say you’re fine but don’t overdo things.

Phew it was very hot in Cordoba yesterday, I hope the pictures come out.

My friends and I had a lovely day.

Today we may wonder down to the marina, but then again we may not.

I love Cordoba. 💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚
Enjoy,*GG*.

DH's flight has been delayed, the pilot is stuck in a traffic jam!
That give s me more time to be in and out of their hous!

Good morning from a damp northwest coast. Enjoyable music club yesterday where I was in charge on the desk and sang four songs. We had a couple of new performers too. Still need more members.
DD from the south still here and took advantage of cheaper prices by going to my hairdresser and having her nails done.
She was out in the evening with her old school friends whilst I fell asleep in front of the tv watching the history of Frogmore House. I drove them into town instead of taking a taxi. She was late home and leaves tomorrow, it’s a flying visit from a flying daughter 😁

Tonight to the AGM and rehearsal in the city for the opera company I have returned to, so looking forward to that.
Thoughts to all🌺

Good morning everyone, from rainy Lancashire. I struggled to get onto Gransnet yesterday as the site was having problems.

I’m feeling better today than I have for some time, the district nurse came to check my skin, has supplied a new barrier cream which is working well and has organised a prescription for steroid cream from the GP to help clear up any problem areas. Every time I have to go into hospital I end up with horrendous skin problems from having canulae, injections, blood samples, dressings, etc. Hopefully all on the mend bowl. MrB came to see me and we had a lovely walk around the Marina in the warm Autumn sunshine.
I hope today is kind to us all ♥️

Morning all and white 🐇 etc., from a drizzly West Oxfordshire. I’m glad I persuaded OH to cut the lawns yesterday!

I did a final bit of cooking yesterday ready for the weekend - a chocolate bread and butter pudding and a batch of Yorkshire puddings. All safely in the freezer.

There is a pottery about 20 minutes drive from the village. It has a shop, gardens and a tea room. That’s our outing today! The shop has some beautiful things and the only way to the tea room is through the shop!

Hope all goes well with your scan MaryD. I trust all is well in the FGT2S household.

Have a good day.

Good morning from soggy Edinburgh.

We’re back at our favourite cafe by the sea for breakfast after having dropped the children off at nursery and school.

I’ll make a vat of chilli for dinner and do a few little things around the house before pick up time.

Looking forward to my own bed this evening. grin

Have the best day possible everyone.
