If far more attention was paid by society to bringing up boys to be morally responsible for what is in their pants, rather than bringing up girls to avoid possible danger by not wearing certain clothing or going out late at night, there might be a sea change.
We need to deal with the cause rather than locking up our daughters - and I don’t mean that literally of course just as I realise many men aremorally responsible for what is in their pants.
But do let’s start by blaming sexual predators and not looking for ways in which prostitution could be made safer etc.

Thing is if men are unable to control their urges without needing prostitutes or becoming racists or pedos then medical science needs to come up with a drug that will dampen those urges.
If it were women behaving like this I imagine this drug would have been available decades ago.

There is something called chemical castration which I believe repeat sexual offenders can undergo voluntarily to suppress their urges.

The internet brings many positive changes. Easy access to pornography for any child with a smart phone isn’t one of them. It seems to be contributing to the normalisation of dangerous sexual practices. Adolescent girls reporting boys expect anal sex and choking.

We need to protect our children from our increasingly sexualised society. How ? Obviously by parenting, setting good examples, input from schools etc. is it too much to expect mobile phones for under 16s or 18s to somehow block inappropriate sites ?

I agree Babs that boys should be raised to respect women but the awful truth is girls do need to be mindful of where they go, who they're with and whether they're alone.

Re the OP supposedly Andrew would have been trying to find out if VG had any convictions, especially prostitution so he could use those to discredit her - rather than pay her (someone he'd never apparently met) £millions to try to shut her up. The agreement included an NDA but only for a year apparently, thank goodness she wrote the book.

I don't think Jonathan Aitken has publicly mentioned Andrew for a few years

Noone is "out to get" Prince Andrew. He has enlightened everyone to the fact he is a liar and abused his position as a member of the Royal Family. Many people believe he should not have been allowed to pay off Virginia Guiffre and he should not be above the law.

If he is indeed experiencing hell on earth, it’s not undeserved by all accounts. A lot more detail about his misdemeanours is going to come out over the next few weeks by the looks of it, and hopefully that will lead to more of the Epstein users coming to light. Privilege should not protect people from justice.

It’s interesting how much energy is devoted to victim blaming and how much to suggesting “all” Prince Andrew did to cause offence was to have sex with a consenting prostitute.
