Brilliant actress, I loved everything she did and thought she was hilarious with her husband in the canal series!

Sad news especially for Sam West whose now lost both parents.

Oh no, I hadn't heard the news.

Such a talented couple.

RIP Prunella Scales

She had dementia, poor lady, I loved the series with her and Timothy on the canals/waterways.

RIP 💐

She was also brilliant as the iconic Sybil Fawlty!

Although sad my first thought was she is reunited with her beloved husband. It is sad for Sam and his siblings that they have lost both parents but hopefully they can take comfort as my Mum did when she lost her parents, my grandparents 6 months apart that they weren't separated for long and that they had happy and long lives into their 90s.

I liked Prunella Scales in After Henry as well as Fawlty Towers.
RIP Prunella 💐

Yes a lovely lady. After Henry was also a favourite fradio programme of mine, I never saw the TV production. Prunella Scales with the formidable mother, Joan Sanderson were a perfect partnership. I occasionally hear it repeated on Radio 4 extra.

I have a neighbour who always says ‘Oh I know’ with Sybil’s exact intonation which always makes me smile.

Anyone else remember her in Hobsons Choice.
Early work. As one of the silly daughters.
The film with Charles Laughton.

I loved their canal series. We saw them once in the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford drinking tea and reading the papers.

RIP Prue

So sad, she was fabulous in so many roles. RIP Prunella.

An unusual marriage between such remarkable actors inasmuch as it went the distance. Neither Timothy or Prunella will be forgotten for a very long time.
Thoughts are with their children and other loved ones who have been saying goodbye to Pru for a very long time.
