So pleased to note that there is this thread, and know I’m not the only one. My insomnia has only occurred since retiring, despite keeping myself busy during the day. I did join a mindfulness class to see if that would help with the busy brain overnight, but I’m afraid the brain noise was too much of a match and overcame all my attempts to listen and concentrate on my breathing rhythm.
On top of that I have restless legs and nocturia. Now I surrender and get up get the washing done while it’s cheap rate electricity, if there is such a thing.
Although this morning at 04.00hrs I made an autumnal trinity oat crumble with pears, apples and plums.
I have also sent for some magnesium glycinate gummies to try, not sure if they will work, nothing ventured nothing gained. Wishing you all a wonderful day whatever you are doing x
