My heart goes out to you, FGT.
Iām so sorry your lovely man is having such dreadful struggles - you will be desperate to be at his side. I hope he has a comfortable night and you see an improvement tomorrow. Sending you much love. Xxx
Iāve been trying to catch up with all the Kitcheners news, youāre all so busy. Iāve also been doing a lot and trying to keep all the plates in the air. Ds2 has been staying with us, he has been so stressed with everything in life, heās normally Mr Cool. He went back home yesterday, looking brighter. Ds1 unfortunately didnāt get into the new drug trial. His genetics werenāt a match for what they were looking for, so itās back to chemo for now. We hope something else will come along. Ds2 is going to go out to visit him, which I hope will boost both of them.
My mother also threw her hat into the messy mix last week, suddenly phoning me up to tell me that she was going to end her life if I didnāt go to see her that minute. I called the care home (couldnāt go there as I was about to collect GC from school!) and it seems that she was having a bad day. She seemed back to normal the next day, though she is getting more and more confused. I have to confess to wondering what itās all for, though, whatās the point?
Iāve done some bits of Christmas shopping, as Iāve spotted things. Iām also planning what weāll do and so on. Dd2 & sil will be coming. People have put up lights and decorations round here. Normally Iād be most disapproving
but I think life is so miserable for so many right now that we need something to cheer us up and keep us going. Iām going to do outdoor decs on 1st December this year, which is unheard of for me!
Before Christmas Iām hoping to get the sittingroom decorated. Iām fed up of boring white and have chosen a dark yellow which I think will warm up the room a lot. Itās north facing so quite dark in winter. Iām aiming to make it cosy.
I hope everyone is warm and dry, weāve had a lot of rain over the past week. Take care, all! Xxx
