I also like Lily Allen's 'Somewhere Only We Know'. It must be a Christmas song as JL used it for their advert and my choir has it in our Christmas repertoire.

And, because I can do a decent rendition on the piano, both ‘Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas’
and ‘Chestnuts roasting on an Open Fire’ (I think it is properly known as The Christmas Song. Tricky key change seven bars in).

I hate ‘Fairy Tale of New York’.

So many fabulous ones including Wham and Mariah Carey. I also like Kelly Clarkson's Underneath the Tree, Leona Lewis' One More Sleep and Wizzard I wish it could be Christmas every day.

Apart from the 1950s Christmas songs, most of which I adore from my childhood, two more of my favourites are One More Sleep - Leona Lewis and Merry Christmas - Elton John and Ed Sheeran.

A Spaceman came Travelling is one of my favourites. I also like Driving Home for Christmas and O Holy Night (an old recording by a famous Swedish tenor).

I think Little Drummer Boy should be banned.
