I know I said earlier that I coul stand Fairy Tale of New York, seems I’m unusual.
A song about a couple who met with great expectations and ended up broken and disliking each other intensely. Doesn’t seem very much like Christmas to me.

That’s what I think too, it’s basically about a couple of drunks on Christmas Eve.

Nobody has mentioned loving Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer, I can’t think why 😄

I absolutely love Scarlet Ribbons, it has all of the wonder, tells a story and has beautiful & simple melodies.

I Believe in Father Christmas by Greg Lake is my favourite with the little bit of Prokoviev in the middle.

I love all the Phil Spector Christmas songs but when I hear “White Christmas “ by Bing Crosby I get a tear in my eye as it was my mum’s favourite Christmas song . I sing along to the 70s stuff by Slade, Wizzard, Shaking Stevens, Mud and even the Wombles!

I love them all - the cheesier the better! But. Id hate to be working in a shop this time of year!
