Finally got into gear!

I have festered somewhat since our guests left on NYD.
I had a mad runaround to get the house straight, beds changed, shopping in etc then I just ground to a halt.

Today was the day to get back in control, I started admin at 8.00am, made bread, shopped, batch cooked soup, washed, done a 5K walk, changed a bed, tidied the airing cupboard, just a bit of ironing and I’m done!

It feels great to be back in control, have you achieved today or shirked?

As I’m still working, today was my rest day so I would never do anything much to spoil that.
Enjoyed a scrambled egg brekkie made by DP, read my book, watched Where Eagles Dare on tv, pottered about on this forum and two others, had a nap on the sofa and caught up with all my emails, texts and phone calls to friends.Pizza this evening, what a marvellous day.😃
