Went to Boots yesterday for some No 7 Lip Care (so much better than normal greasy lip care even though it is almost £10). Turned out it was 3 for 2 so I picked up 3, used a £5 off No 7 voucher I had and then paid the last bit with Advantage Card points! Boots is one of the only places I know that will accept numerous vouchers on one purchase.

I had a great bargain from Amazon in the Black Friday sale.
2 of my normal brand mascara for the price of 1.

… 2 weeks later I received an email thanking me for my ‘return’ and sending a full refund.

They are both in my makeup bag 😀

I always click on my Boots app, especially for their £10 Tuesday. Yes I'm with you on liking a bargain OP. I'm forever checking out the cheapest go to place for say perfume and cosmetics, there are definite disparities in prices as to where certain items can be purchased at a reduced price. For example, in my town we have both a Hobbs and a John Lewis. A while back I spotted a cross body bag in Hobbs. I managed to get the same bag for some £40 less in John Lewis. Why not indeed?

"Shop around" is one of my mantras grin

Yes Amazon's Black Friday, my coffee pods are on offer at £3.15 a box. Usually they can be anything between £4 and at worst as much as £5.50 a box. Needless to say come Black Friday I ordered those in bulk.

Today in our local Co Op I bought McCain oven chips 1kg bag £3.50 or 3 for £6. They will last us for ages.

Out branch of Boots are excellent in sorting out the best deals using multi buys, vouchers, points etc. Often, a gift set is reduced so much it’s lots and lots cheaper than separate items of the same sizes.

John Lewis is a great place to price check, I've found some good savings there surprisingly.

My DH has been looking for a new winter jacket. Not a formal one, something to wear to football when it is cold and rainy/sleety. Today in M&S (a rare occurence for us) I spotted a jacket on the Sale rail where it stated it was "up to 70% off but no sale price on the ticket.. It looked perfect, fitted him wonderfully. The original price was £149 and when he took it to the checkout, they told him the sale price was £44.90. Bargain of the year for us!!!

On the way to M and S I went a different route and saw that Seasalt were having a sale .
It's a very long time since I bought anything from them , but the price of their dresses was amazing.
At the till there was a further 20% off .
I was thrilled as their quality is so good and the colours so subtle and pleasing.

I’m really loving Vinted. My husband needed a new thick jumper and I managed to source a M&S one that was almost brand new for just £2.00. Absolute bargain.

I bought some beautiful Xmas napkins in Tesco last week for about 45p. Also bought sellotape dispenser with tape for less than a £.

Yesterday we had roast pork £2.50. Tasted even more delicious than if it had been full price!

I have always been a bargain buyer, over the years because I needed to be, but of course it also becomes a habit. As I live alone, the best bargains for me in fruit and vegetables are being able to buy individual and small amounts fresh from the local market, spending cash, saves me money and supports local people.

My best recent bargain was a good quality leather bag, which can be used with the handle, or can be worn across the body or over the shoulders. It cost me £20 and I am very pleased with it. Think my best overall bargain over some years was a brand new silk blue shirtwaister blouse,in a closing down sale in Ann Harvey for £12.50 and it is 8 or 9 years ago, and it still fits and I find it my most useful top for going out in the evening with black velvet trousers.

I popped into Matalan today because it is next to the supermarket, saw a really nice “activewear” top marked at £19 on the 50% off sale rail, got to the till with it and it came up as £4! Thrilled.

On Saturday I got a veg box in Lidl for £2.00..

It has made 16 portions of tomato and red pepper soup, 16 portions of celery, leek and potato soup, plum and pear mix for crumble and I still have some peppers and a Romaine lettuce in the fridge.

Recently on a long journey we stopped for brunch at a very large farm shop (we often do). Apart from delicious homemade food and farm produce, it sells clothing from Barbour, Seasalt, Joules etc.
On the way out there was a seasonal sale section and a Seasalt dress caught my eye. There was only one, it was my size and reduced from £85 to £15! Of course it’s come home with me.

What an amazing bargain Sago. You were very resourceful in your use of the bargain vegetables. smile

Bought Christmas presents for both daughters and a tip for me in a pre Christmas sale at Crew (online) . This month bought a dress and Breton top for £28 for the two. They were 3 and 4 times dearer full price. The dress on its own was £49, sale price £16
