This ghastly person and his gang seem to be everywhere in the news.
It's utterly depressing.

Oh and that is a hilarious picture of prostitution I am afraid.
Would you like to know the statistics in relation to violence that men who use prostitutes represent compared to men who don't.

Here we go again. These women were groomed and trafficked. Many of them were not consenting adults.

It is a very privileged life one leads to decide that one is tired of seeing the evidence of a massive sex trafficking ring that destroyed the lives of many young girls at the hands of some of the world's most powerful men.

Do any of the photo's actually show them doing anything wrong?

I saw yesterday that not all of the photos were released. Nothing with nudity or injuries. I can't remember where now, I'll have to search for it.

Galaxy Sun 01-Feb-26 15:07:09

I don't know about anyone else but I don't actually want to see pictures of the 'doing something wrong'.

Truffle43 Sun 01-Feb-26 15:07:44

Personally I am sick to death of being drip fed this information. I despise any sort of abuse and believe anyone guilty of this should stand trial. I want it over with. Take them to court do whatever needs doing but STOP DRIP FEEDING the general public information. What kind of trial could possibly take place when all of the details are out in the public domain. I feel sorry for Andrew’s daughters, they suffer every time this rears its head. They do not deserve this. What do others think.?

So sick of it everywhere...
Couldn't agree with you more, I'd been feeling the same for ages, just so fed up reading about that awful man and his vile behaviour. Also the people that surrounded him knowing what he was and how he exploited others.

I now just skip anything to do with him (apart from this opportunity to agree ;-) )

I can't believe all the anti women 'blame the victim" posts on here. Even if all the women were 'nice girls" , "in it for the money", no under aged or coerced in anyway ( unlikely), then it would still be demeaning and sleazy for the middle aged men with wealth and power who were involved. I expect you blame women who are raped for "asking for it".

Shocking, isn't it.

Yes, it is shocking

Thst's one way of paying the school fees, I suppose.
Mine went to state schools.

Casdon Sun 01-Feb-26 15:14:40

Agreed Galaxy, I don’t want to see it either. I do however think those images should be taken into account and seen by those responsible for deciding which men there is evidence to prosecute. I don’t agree with the withholding of evidence to protect any perpetrators.

Absolutely.

sixandahalf I agree that the media is saturated with reports and news of Epstein, Trump et al. I find if I just ascertain the salient points so I am aware and informed then it is enough.
I avoid dwelling on matters that I have little or no influence over other than by my democratic rights to vote in elections here in England. Flawed though it may be. I do feel for ordinary Americans right now and hope they come to their collective senses and as soon as they are able, to rid themselves of the “Ayatollah Trump”.
These other items of detritus such as anyone complicit in Epsteins’ crimes and these thugs known as ICIS who have carried out Trump sanctioned assassinations in USA will sooner rather than later be swept away and get their just desserts.
Chin up there is still much good out there!

Necessary in order to function really. It's profoundly sad and depressing, as is what's served up to us by way of "entertainment"

Indeed!

There are so many comments all over the media and social media could it jeopardise any trial(s) anyway?

JaneJudge Sun 01-Feb-26 15:28:06

I just feel sorry for poor Victoria as it looks like she was telling the truth
The Royal family trotting out he has all his finances etc taken away whilst there are photos of him yesterday out on his horse in beautiful surroundings.
We are partly funding these powerful people to behave in this way

Galaxy Sun 01-Feb-26 15:42:30

Yes I agree Casdon, I just don't really understand the need for the pictures of the bad things to be in the public arena, I don't for example need to see photos of serial killers in action to know it is a bad thing, there seems to be some form of demand for visual proof for the public in this case.

Maremia Sun 01-Feb-26 15:48:14

The sentence that chilled me was the one where the official explained that were would be no torture or deaths revealed in the new releases. That's not the exact quote, but you get the drift.
Did he mean that there was evidence that such horrors had occurred?

Netherbyg84 Sun 01-Feb-26 15:50:16

No not a man.

Allira Sun 01-Feb-26 15:51:38

Ok, thanks.

foxie48 Sun 01-Feb-26 16:03:04

I have no doubt that Epstein catered to the particular tastes of these powerful men and provided them with opportunities to indulge themselves in their sexual fantasies. I think photos and videos of these activities will not be publicly available but possibly could be very useful to the US government as there were other men involved from other countries.

Doodledog Sun 01-Feb-26 16:49:41

It's as though if a woman complains about something done to her by a wealthy man she must be doing it for financial gain. As though the word of three women is needed to counter the word of one man, and even then, if he's got a few quid they might just be jumping on a bandwagon.

Of course we don't need to see photos of people in flagrante delicto. Maybe such photos exist, and that they are being kept in reserve - 'keep quiet or we'll send that one to the papers.' Maybe not.

And also, bad things happening to sex workers are still bad things. They do not deserve 'what's coming to them', or whatever the phrase is. They deserve the protection of the law every bit as much as everyone else.

Netherbyg84 Sun 01-Feb-26 17:02:25

No, not a man.

Can you be a bit less cryptic, please?

What (or who) is not a man?

dotpocka Sun 01-Feb-26 17:07:03

there are dead woman girls and babies

Could somebody please tell me why the women who allegedly had sexual relations with the former Duke, met him of their own free will as consenting adults?
Or are we to understand they were kidnapped and brought to him by force?

This is exactly what I’m wondering.

RosiesMawagain Sun 01-Feb-26 18:13:00

Not sick of seeing it all exposed and reported but heartily sick and disillusioned with men at all levels of society. who apparently think with their willies.
Decent, honourable men, particularly in high positions seem to be thin on the ground. angryangry
