DIL is going back to theatre as we speak. Not good news. 😪

MD she is going back to theatre is good news, something may have been missed/not done properly and this will likely fix it. She will be with a top surgeon. Slow and steady recovery afterwards with a very supportive family. Your head must be spinning just now but live in hope xx

A later good morning from another.damp and dreary Northampton day. Slept late again this morning, woke about 6.30, made myself turn over and go back to sleep. Now in a rush as I have a Sainsbury's delivery shortly.

Another day at home yesterday resting my knee, but also gently moving it so that it doesn't
seize up; I can feel it easing and bending it when walking is getting easier.
A friend has offered me a lift to the weekly well-being cafe this afternoon; I think I may.go although I haven't been for about a year. I shall gather up my knitting bag and go.

DD-out-law called in yesterday afternoon to drop off her copy of 'The Bell Jar' which is our next book club read - although whether our next meeting will go ahead is very unlikely as our hostess is in hospital, and no news of her.

Must put some washing on before Sainsbury's gets here, fingers crossed the machine behaves itself!

Thinking of you and your family marydoll. I hope that another procedure will sort out the problem and that your DDil will make a complete and speedy recovery. Poor dollie is having a hard time, I hope the bullying stops very quickly, little girls can be quite nasty to each other.

Good morning everyone from a dry and much calmer Lancashire. The howling winds have dropped and we didn’t get the threatened snow.

MrB and I have been for our usual morning walk around the Dock. I have a telephone appointment with my doctor this afternoon to discuss my latest thyroid results.
