Good morning all from a very wet Glasgow There is little respite from this incessant rain.
I have just spent the last ten minutes looking for Good morning Monday. I am away with the fairies.
Roses, that is not good enough, that after all your hard work, no-one turned up.
Madeleine, it looks like you need to see a doctor. Aspirin, as suggested, should only be taken under GP supervision and is not recommended for elderly folk, especially if you are on blood thinners.
After both heart attacks, I was taking them as a necessary precaution, I was covered in huge purple bruises and couldn't wait to stop them.
Please seek medical help, you sound very unwell.
I too felt very unwell yesterday, between the divericulitis and labrynthitis, I felt awful and spent the day in my jammies.
At 9am, DD and SIL arrived, when I was still in bed she took one look and said, Mum, you look awful, 😔
They hadn't long left, when a very cross Babydoll arrived with her parents, they stayed for hours, so that DS2 could set up DH's new P.C. He has been stubbornly at it for days,
Just like the voice prompts on the TV. He refused to let me fix it. After three days, of the TV vocalising every action and driving me to distraction, I took possession of the remote and sorted it in minutes.
He told DD, that he had tried that and it didn't work. Aye right!
Nothing pleased Babydoll, she didn't know what she wanted, including stripping off her clothes.😂
My teacher brain (I worked with children on the autistic spectrum) is beginning to go into overdrive.
She is above her percentile in development, is speaking in full sentences, asks frequent questions, doesn't like change, walks on her tiptoes, doesn't like loud noises and displays other indicators. I would never say a word to her parent.
She dragged me to the conservatory, closed the door and wouldn't allow anyone in, including her parents. It was to be only the two of us,
All I wanted to do was wallow, but no chance of that, I was her best pal.♥️.
A very unwell, DIL messaged me last night, sounding very low. Poor DS is getting a hard time from her, he can't do anything right, I'm about to force myself to get up and go visiting.
Wee Dollie is not doing well, she is missing her mum so badly and her behaviour is reflecting this. Poor DS.
She had a visit from another surgeon, who told her that she was such an interesting and unusual case, he had to come and see her!
DH came back from the Vigil Mass last night, telling me that people were asking for me, they knew something must be wrong, due to my prolonged absence.
Despite me emailing all the important information for the bulletin, the young man responsible for typing it, missed out these items.
Unfortunately those items had been submitted by two rather troublesome parishioners, if I didn't fix it, the curate and young sacristan would have had an earful.
To keep the peace, I had to contact them and apologise, (even although it wasn't my fault ), then alert the young curate, that I would send DH in, with a revised bulletin to read out at Mass.
No rest for the wicked, despite me supposedly taking a step back!
Best wishes to all our poorly Gransnetters and their families. 🤞for your DH, Nannyjan.
