Morning from a cloudy and damp S Hants.
Yesterday was dry and I had my car valeted, it looks like new even at six years old.
My hip was griping, so just a short walk. Today voluntary phone am, pm a friend is here for coffee and cake as it’s her birthday.
Joint the club GG13 I have to see a rheumatologist in a couple of weeks for a decision on my osteoporosis treatment.
Have a pleasant day all.

Good morning everyone from south Manchester where it’s wet out. We had torrential rain during the night it woke me up. I just took this photo of the decking outside my front door facing east. The watery sun is just up as you can see.

I have L’il Miss with me (her school has an inset day) until 4pm when her dad will come to pick her up. We discussed lunch venues earlier. I suggested the Loungers bar below or the Italian restaurant round the corner but she asked “can I have Greggs?” 😁 she loves the chicken tenders and potato wedges!

Good morning all from Glasgow, where it is 11°C. At least it is dry.

Gaga, your poor DH has been through to much. ♥️

As predicted, Silverburn was not a pleasant experience. I have never seen it so busy and noisy. I guess, I am just a grumpy old woman!
I had a slightly surreal experience in Zara. I had never done a Click and Collect there. Faced with a touch screen on a wall, nothing else. I was asked to scan the bar code, I had been emailed, in order to retrieve my parcel.
As a back up, I had made a paper copy, because I am struggling to use my phone at the moment due to my arthritic hands.
Taking the sheet of paper from my bag, I heard a thud, looked up and saw the glass screen on the wall opening up. There was my parcel.
I was stunned, for I hadn't even got round to scanning the code. It took less than a minute to retrieve it. 🤔

We had a lovely visit with Babydoll yesterday. She was so happy to see us and adamant that I climb up into her treehouse, I couldn't even get up the first step. 🤣

I wan't feeling great, when I got home. I couldn't stop shivering, I felt so awful, I thought perhaps my patch had come off, but it was still there. I still feel a bit odd today.
I fell asleep in the conservatory, I could have been dead for all DH knew!
Yesterday, he seemed to revert back to his previous odd behaviour, he was extremely difficult.

This morning, I need to oversee the money counting, due to both priests being away.
The P.P sent me a video of the wedding, he was officiating at in Rome.
The happy couple drove from the church, beside the Forum, and then drove round the Coloseum in a vintage, open top car.
The groom and his family were all wearing kilts. What a sight to behold.
The Italian side of the family looked very bemused. 🤣

I wish you all a pleasant day and best wishes to all, who are struggling.

Good morning all from a damp Morecambe Bay where more rain is promised. A noisy day is in store, the houses next door but one on both sides are having big extensions and the deliveries, clattering and shouting has started already.
It’s my eldest GD’s birthday today. I was hoping that she would be born on my late mother’s birthday but she missed it by a day. That was 24 years ago. On the day she arrived in the world DH was in Scotland on an adventure holiday with a party of schoolchildren. He was due home that evening so he had barely put his foot through the door when we set off 100 miles down the motorway for a cuddle. We then headed back home!
I do wish I still had that energy!
We were supposed to be setting off this morning on a road trip in our little camper van, heading down the east coast and eventually touring Norfolk. As we have been so busy we have nothing booked. Instead we are having a rest day , get it organised and maybe head off tomorrow. The last few weeks have been hectic and we are both exhausted!
I empathise with the family worries Ash We seem to lurch from one crisis to the next with DS3. He’s been a concern from before he was born and has been a constant source of worries ever since!
Thinking of all with troubles. Take care🌸

Morning Mick, morning All from a soggy corner of Somerset. There are more puddles than road outside

Back via both sons’ homes from an enjoyable few days with friends where we were thoroughly spoiled it’s a quiet sorting out day today. Too tired to faff when we got back.

Nothing much in the calendar this week, the weather seems set to rain so I’ll read but probably not post for a few days as there will be nothing to say!

Best wishes to all, have the best day you can.

Good morning from a sunny (for now) Cornwall. Good journey from Berkshire yesterday with DD and sister from London.

Our air b&b is spacious and bright and last night we enjoyed a nice meal in Penzance. I had scampi. It was chilly and we wrapped up.

My sister is very entertaining and I had pain from laughing so much at stories from our past growing up etc.

Today to St. Michael’s Mount and Mousehole.
My DD has never been to Cornwall before, my sister many times and I have had one visit to Newquay ages ago. but it was a singing job, soloist with a choir and it’s not the same when working.
Thoughts to all.

Good morning everyone from a damp Northampton, thundery showers expected later.

The forecast rain did not arrive yesterday, so I did a bit of washing which dried beautifully. As I could not lift the washing basket (because of my cataract surgery) I took the empty basket outside,.then made 2 or 3 journeys carrying damp washing, and thence to the washing line.

DS messaged to ask if I needed anything doing, so I asked him if he would take me to Boots to buy a pair of ordinary sunglasses; my prescription ones now make me feel dizzy after my surgery. He was here within minutes and we had a pleasant time choosing some - it was good to have him there as he could tell me which pair suited me!

Today I am out to a funeral - the son of our elderly 92 yr old friend. He died suddenly and unexpectedly in his sleep last month. The service is at our village parish church, and he will be buried with his father who died a couple of years ago. He never married and had never left home, always lived with his parents. The wake is in the village pub, almost next door to the church.

An easy dinner of ham egg and chips - leftovers from the gammon I cooked yesterday.

Wishing all a pleasant day.

Good morning. Wet, dreary and cold here in Hertfordshire. One lot of washing done, no point hanging on the line so tumble dried which is annoying at this time of year. Off to drop DH at the cafe to meet his friends. Might have a look around Dunelm before pick up. I always find something I think I need! Hopefully if it clears this afternoon I'll go for a walk.

A rather late Good morning from N. Bucks. Rain has I type.
I had a restless night and am very achy due to working in the garden yesterday.
The afternoon celebrated of our friends 50th Anniversary was lovely and mostly warm enough to sit outside.
Not much on today, a bit of housework and try to sort out a diabetes check appointment . Later I ‘ll be in my workroom painting.
Wishing a good day to you all.

Good morning from a grey and cool NE. Heating on again this morning.
DD back home in Brussels after her working week in Canada, it was about 6am when she landed so went to bed when she got home and had a few hours sleep, she lives within easy driving distance of the airport.
GD1 is off to Greece on holiday with some university friends today, all female, her boyfriend isn't going.
GD2 still has quite a few GCSEs so is at home studying in between.
Quiet day for me, just some tidying round.
Have a good day.
