Things that (sometimes unreasonably) get on your nerves...hopefully lighthearted

I was watching the gardening programme on BBC2 this morning and suddenly got immensely irritated by the presenter, in the blazing sunshine, going on with himself along the lines of "...I'm already thinking about Autumn/Winter".

I know gardens take a lot of advance planning but it seems on every gardening programme no one seems to take the time out to just enjoy the moment, always looking ahead to the next job, the next bout of hard labour.

What gets your goat?

"All clear to the airport then?" Me..NO! I hope that you get stuck in a 5 mile traffic jam and miss your flight.
"I hope you haven't forgotten anything?"..."yes I'm going to forget to take you with me!"
"Remember what you forgot last time?"...."why don't you book the damned holiday yourself then?"
Now that advert would make me laugh!

A pet hate of mine , especially the last few days it seems to be even worse, is when you speak to a receptionist at the doctors, or someone does something for you , and you say thankyou, and they reply "No worries" . I have to concentrate on not answering back! . If I am in the doctors, I very probably do have worries, and when I thank someone, I am quite happy if they either smile and say nothing, or acknowledge with "you're welcome"

It doesnt bother me in the same way, but it amuses me when you meet a friend , either in the doctors or in the chemist , waiting for a prescription , and they say "Hello, how are you?"

I enjoy playing word games on my phone or tablet but the ads that pop up all the time drive me mad. Likewise on catchup and tv channels. I understand why they are needed but are so many really needed. Very often I delete a game or stop watching a catch up service out of pure frustration. I know you can pay to be ads frees but so many services show them, it would be a huge expense each month.
