Thanks Madeleine for such an interesting report, I love those country shows. Just watched a bit of this year's on YouTube. I don't think I spotted you.

Hallo GN.s

It is nearly 11pm, but if you wonder what that noise is you keep hearing , it is me laughing my socks off! After the trials and tribulations of the last few days, and the joy of Muker show, but it all left me somewhat shattered and will need a few days to sort things, it was just the right thing that they had The Italian Job , on , with of course Michael Caine and Noel Coward , Just the right sort of thing to watch tonight. I could probably remember at least half the words, but even better I was just then starting to sort things out but what fun. They had Sarah Milligan on. I have always loved Billy Connolly. I have known him for many years from when I used to live in the Nottingham area, and we used to go ice skating when Torvill and Dean were practising there. I dont particularly like a lot of swearing, but it can depend on the whole person and their attitude. I find Billy a wonderful person, full of great flights of fancy and to me Sarah Milligan is a genuine female version of Billy, and she does come out with some varied language, but oh she is so funny and she tells it how it is. . Every woman will recognise what she is talking about, and she was so good at talking about the times that we all remember in school, with your favourite friends and the bully you dreaded. Then she went through the 6 stages of knickers, starting with the brand new elegant ones and down through the elastic not trustworthy etc. Well anyway, it was just the sort of evening I needed right now, so my upstairs neighbour will no doubt be wondering what is making me laugh so much and I am still in pain, and very weary but fingers crossed I can get some sleep and have a better day tomorrow. Hope you all found something to laugh or smile at today too, Se you in the morning!
