Good Morning Everyone,
A dark but wet start to the day here in brackley this morning.
Todays plan a early bus to Bicester , have a coffee and a snack , maybe a beer as ell , before a shop and hopefully cat to those I know.
Watch the Tour of Spain on TV , my health is OK.
Take Care,
Mick

Crikey Gingster that could’ve been a tragic outcome all round scary indeed for your friend I bet she cried with relief once she clambered out of that pool! 🫪

Good morning from the very edge of South Lanarkshire where I’m staying in DD’s house from yesterday till Friday, keeping her young dog company! I’ve discovered that if I play an energetic game with him for ten minutes or so he will go off and snooze so I can read or watch TV for about an hour with a clear conscience. I’m reminded of my dad’s saying that ‘some people (ie. This dog) mistake decency for softness’😊 but I think we’ve hit a rhythm we can both live with.

Sending good thoughts to everyone who needs them today x

Morning all from a damp, rainy and humid West Oxfordshire. What a difference to yesterday when we had wall to wall sunshine and blue skies.

I have a variety of things to get on with today. Ironing, preparing tonight’s dinner (I’m out this afternoon and we’re eating early as OH has a meeting) and making a start on packing for Thursday’s trip to the Italian lakes.

Our granddaughter’s mum sent a lovely photo yesterday of her ready for Year 6! She should know by Christmas which school she’ll be going to next year. Depending what school it might be she will be taking the equivalent of the 11 plus in November. My son has been encouraging her to do just a little bit of homework each day through the holidays.

Television recommendation - Colin from Accounts. I binge watched the first three episodes last night.

Have a good day.
