I’ve got Iris earrings not pens!

I have been trying to visualise tiny Celtic cross pens. 😂
Good wishes to Iris 🙏

Good morning from Sheffield
Well I spoke too soon.
I went to Specsavers yesterday morning . I had a really good look at frames and asked the assistant her advice. Two of them agreed on the one pair so she has put a note on my record ready for next week when I have my eyes tested.
I had a few more things to get at the mall. Then from walking back to the car to driving home, literally 10 minutes I felt shocking. I felt so ill. The shingles jab. I slept all afternoon, dozed all evening and slept all night as well. I feel rubbish this morning and am staying in bed. I suppose it’s not as bad as real shingles.
So that’s me for today, take care everyone flowers

Good morning from Llandudno. Still on my holidays and the weather is keeping fine. Another refreshing walk along the Parade today then this afternoon I will hand sew some little bags for lavender.

Happy Wednesday all.

Good morning from s somerset, no sun at all today, dull grey skies and it is quite windy

It was a good day again yesterday and my PJs are finished. I used a brushed cotton/viscose a very nice and special fabric. I was amazed when I tried the top on, it is gorgeous and will be made again and again, as a normal top, no darts, zips or buttons and very flattering on. It is a very good and well drafted pattern with several sleeve lengths. Sew Liberated nocturne and I am going to be hunting more patterns from them, I already have three versions of their Hinterland dress hanging in my wardrobe, including two as pinafores for winter

I did my walk, changed my pin and tested my new card and upgraded Kaspersky, I`ll probably need to go on a fast walk again today

Simple plans for today again, I did cut out a spare pair of pants from the length of fabric so I will sew them up, do a bit of dusting and clean the ensuite. Watch some film or other and finish my jumper ribbing.

Thank you Grandmabatty.
I think I may fall asleep on the sofa later today! If only I could be alert all day as I am in the wee small hours of the morning! grin

Good morning Mick and others. Polmont is 4° and dry. Yesterday became very wet in the afternoon. I dropped off the boys and did little. I did make tomato sauce and put meatballs in it which I had for dinner later. When I picked up the boys, dgs2 couldn't see me and his wee face was so sad. The change when I moved forward and he spotted me! Both boys were good and played nicely till I took them home. Then an early night for me which I'm paying for this morning with an earlier than usual rise.
Today is an early childcare day. After I deposit the boys at school, I will pick up my prescription and go home, probably to have a nap. Then go to the school library to tidy it before picking up the boys again. Their parents will collect them later. Dinner will be meatballs in tomato sauce. Have a good day all.

Good morning Michael and to those not yet awake....

I don't usually comment but insomnia struck again last night and I've been awake for hours.
I can't tell what the weather is like outside in my part of Warwickshire as the bedroom curtains are still drawn and Mr G is gently snoring away so I don't want to disturb him.

It's a good job I don't have much planned today as I think I may be tired later on.
I will go downstairs shortly and make tea and catch up with the news on tv.
I think I'll go out early and walk, rather than drive to the chemist. I have to pick up my prescription medication. It's only a ten minute walk and some fresh air and a bit of movement will blow off the cobwebs, and make me feel more alert, I hope.
Wishing you all a good day.

Good morning from a dry chilly Bristol.
Yesterday was quiet, with my Spanish class in the morning. My 1.5 Mike walk down was lovely in the autumn sunshine; seeing the trees in full autumn glory, many berried shrubs and the fallen leaves.
Hard work in class, partly the conversation & getting the tenses right, then the grammar…
Quiet afternoon; my pc man rescheduled as he was in the middle of a very complicated problem.
Today, FAB cafe is hosting a band. This means over 100 attendees instead of 16ish! Much happiness from the punters, who will be dancing, bopping, shuffling, parking walkers and sticks to join the fun.
Quiet afternoon, then dinner at DD’s before Iris’ confirmation. I’ve got i a pair of tiny gold Celtic cross pens as present.
Hope all goes well for everyone today.
